About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Corte Bella is Great
The course was in great shape. The course is not tough for better players, fairways are wide and forgiving, but you still have to find fairways and greens and use some golf course management as there are bunkers that come into play. Course is in great shape, greens are smooth and roll true. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Great course will play as offended as I can afford
Pace of play
Pace of play was great. We finished our round of golf in 3 hours and 10 min. Course was in good condition.

Solid Course
This course is in very good condition. Great deal for the money. The only small gripe I have is the tee boxes grass is quite long. Other than that it’s always a nice round here
Nice course friendly staff
I have play this course few times, and I have never been disappointed and the course condition. Greens were slower than usual, but still have a true roll. Able to play early under excellent weather conditions. Will return.
A Course in the Burbs
Set in an upscale community in Surprise, this is a well maintained course that offers an above average challenge. The white tees ( one up from the tips) offers a course length that is more than enough for the average golfer. Of course, for the big hitters, the tips give the added length. Its a fun course in a pleasant part of the Valley.
Had to play again
I had just played this course recently. It was so good I came back to play the weekend. The pace was slower on the weekend, plus the group ahead of us just plain sucked. We had a good round. The greens which were sanded last time seem to have absorbed the sand as they were not sandy today. Putting was fairly smooth. One playing partner could not figure the greens out, but the other 3 of us had no problems.
Enjoyable round
Everything went well. Got off on time. Pace was excellent. Weather was good. Conditions were good. The greens were sanded, but they were not that bad. Just had to play a little less break was all. The greens here were better than some other courses I've played recently.
Corta Bella
Have not golfed here in a while. The sand traps were nice today. The greens are beautiful and the fairways lush and green. They provide ice and ice water which is nice at various locations on the course.
The lay out of the course is fun and challenging . but no cart gal for drinks.
The course is in very good shape and was a lot fun to play. The only down fall was no cart gal for cold drinks in 100 degree weathers.
Pleasantly surprised
Overall it was very fun. I’d say it was a resortish course. Great condition. Most of the fairways were generous and half pipe shaped. Easier to be in the fairways. Lots of gigantic bunkers but many were sort of out of play areas (#8) or just a risk reward (#4) Scenic to look at. The thing that make this course challenging are the greens. The were fast, lots of contour and hard to read. Number 17 seemed almost in the category of not legal. Huge two tiered green on a small leveled off hill.
Staff was great. Lots of water on the course which was nice as it was a hot day when I played. No cart girl for some reason. Covid?
