Corte Bella Golf Club
About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Great day to play
Course was in great condition
Early morning tee time so wasn’t too hot
Fun
Poor Value
Not a difficult course tee to green, but some tough greens and tough pins. I’m new to the Phoenix area, but the course just didn’t seem to warrant a $75 price tag. I’d choose the Verrado courses in a heartbeat over this at the same price point. I’d be willing to spend $40 to play this track, but if the price stays up, I’ll find alternative options.
Nice course
Course is in excellent conditions. Green have true rolls. Staff were very friendly, able to play under four hours. A must play again course.
Great Course and Staff
During this difficult COVID time, I still found the staff to be very efficient, friendly and kind. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was under 4 hours. I would highly recommend this course.
Traps are the biggest challenge
Course is in great shape. Lots of options for distance from the tees. Two water holes that present a challenge, but sand traps are plentiful.
Beautiful Course
This course is always in great shape. Golf staff are friendly and pace of play is amazing compared to most courses in the valley. I didn't feel like we were playing fast and we finished just under 4 hours.
Easter 2020
Amazing Layout. Fast greens and challenging most of time if you are out of 20ft. Sand every where. Members do walk this place like the cool kid on the block FYI. Good price on a hot deal. I wouldn’t pay more than $40. Happy Easter 2020 and remember press play not pause.
A little burnt out
But otherwise..... beautiful, fair, lots lots of bunkers and palms.
Great layout and fun to play
Tough conditions because of Corona virus restrictions but was very enjoyable none the less. Play this course if you get the chance.
Great course great layout. Challenge for all levels. Wife is a 20+ handicap and she really enjoyed it.
Nice Course
Course was in very good condition and pace of play was good. Greens ran true and fairways were generous and in excellent condition. Would play here again!
Great Course
Beautiful course! Very well maintained golf course from the tee box to the greens. Will be coming back for sure!
Recovered form excessive rain
Course was in good shape despite having all of the rain the past week. There was a lot of standing water, but none on the fairways or rough. There were 2 hole that were cart path only, but otherwise no restrictions.
The only problem with the course is the condition of the bunkers. Many had lots of rock and stones. Played courses that the waster bunkers were in better shape than this course. This is not because of the rain either. The sand is not sand but rocks in many of them. The tees had not been mowed in several days, so were quite long.
Enjoyable
The course was in great shape. The greens looked great and rolled true. You can tell this is a private course from all of the customized golf carts around. The staff was kind, but didn’t go above or beyond for daily fee / golfnow guests. No one on staff touched my clubs after they tossed them on the cart. Was told that the starter would fund us on the range / putting green to take us to the #1 tee. My rodeo g partner and I ended up having to find the #1 tee (which was a little difficult if you hadn’t played here) because no one came and got us. We got there just as the other twosome just had teed off. No one took our clubs off of our cart nor did they offer to clean them (and it was not for a lack of staff being around).
I would maybe play this course again, but it’s not because e staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
Beautiful
Great play even with a shotgun start. Course was in great shape. Greens were aeesome.
Outstanding Course Conditions
The course is well manicured and maintained. The fairways are generously wide, sand traps are well maintained and playable, greens roll true, and the course has great design elements and is very aesthetic. We look forward to playing it again.
