About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Great Course even in the heat
Course is in great shape. greens are all consistent.
Staff is friendly and helpful, as always.
always a good time
i have played this course before and will definitely again. from check in with Trevor( i hope name is correct) who was pleasant, friendly as well as courteous, all check ins should be as pleasant as this. Adam who stopped by as he was riding the course and Britney cleaning the clubs at the end of the round, were all terrific. to be fair this is a fun and not too difficult a course in the NW valley in an adult community, but you still need to hit fairways and greens. lets be fair, towards the end of August in AZ the course is dry, tired and getting ready for a rest and over seeding. i think it is in very good condition for this time of year, and will of course be back.

The have lost the greens
Greens were punched 3 weeks prior to us playing.
The greens looked like a D-9 Dozer had driven on them
Every green was covered with spots with NO grass
Very disappointed!
Avoid the greens
Ok, you can't really avoid the greens, but do try to hit it as close as possible to the pin. That is really your only chance of making a putt. The greens have been recently top-dressed and were in poor shape at best. Extremely slow and bumpy. The rest of the course was in good shape except for the tees which looked like they hadn't been mowed in a week. Pretty bad when you have to use a full-length tee on a par 3 just to get your ball above the grass.
Love the course
Course layout is awesome greens needs time after having them punched but are getting real close
WARNING!
Just giving everyone out there a warning about this golf course. No since in complaining.( Nothing will be done to rectified the situation ) Read good reviews ... They lied ! There was no Aerification Warning. Trevor? (in the Pro Shop) said there was one on GolfNow. But as you can see there is no Aerification Warning...Glad I didn't paid very much to play. Good Luck.
Great track. No crazy breaks, no blind shots. Risk reward excellent. Single digit guys would say easy, but 7000 from tips is legit. Wide fairways, big greens. Well maintained
Fun in the Sun
This course is one of my favorites. The greens were in great shape. They were even a little soft which surprised me. Usually in the summer greens everywhere are hard. The ball checked pretty quick on approach shots. The fairways were in good shape. There were two groups of three ahead of me which let me play through. I played in under 3 hours. I really enjoy this course.
Summer evaluation
Disclaimer. I am a resident non- member. Compared to all other local courses undergoing the usual summer (not overseeded) blues the course and greens are better than most.
Great Club!
This place is lovely! The staff is kind and attentive and the track is great!
It is great that they include range time in the round and have a nice putting service to practice on.
Corte Bella is a great option!
Got a great rate on this course so I decided to try it out. Somewhat easy tee shots as it was driver/wedge into most greens. Greens were a little challenging due to their undulations.
Main concern here had nothing to do with the course. Got grouped with two guys who were awful. The chose to tee off before me and would not allow me to play through despite several requests. I think there may have been 7-9 people total on the course and these two clowns were pretty nasty. Wished there would've been someone from the course marshalling who would've diffused situation
An OK course but won't be back
excellent again
i have played here before and will again. from the friendliness of Tyler upon entry, to the really good course conditions to a very fair fee. the only minor, minor critique, is the bunkers are really hard as in concrete hard. but then again it is summer in AZ. top notch a hidden gem in the west valley, will certainly be back
Gem of the West Side
Corta Bella is always a great course to play. I have played many, many times and think it is my favorite course on the west side. The course is always in great shape, staff are always friendly, the food is good and the greens fees are usually competitive (well except for peak season).
It is a must play at least a couple times a year.
Corte Bella is above par
Corte Bella is in great shape right now. Pace of play was consistent and we finished 18 holes in just over 3 hours.
Pleasantly Surprised
From the time we arrived everything was perfect. Very friendly at the counter, very organized, perfectly manicured practice facilities and course, super friendly starter group. Minor complaint with the rental clubs.
Course difficulty
The course exceeds my level of skill, a ton of bunkers. Nonetheless, the course and greens are in great shape.
