About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Back to being the crown jewel in sun city
The course has shown great improvement in the last year. I actually had written a poor review for this course a year ago because the course conditions and overall experience had declined so much from previous high standards. However course looks like it's back on track fairways green and lush, bunkers raked, and greens that rolled extremely true. Great to see its back to being excellent and its previous top echelon self. Play this course it won't disappoint.
Worth the drive
As the snow birds leave, Corte Bella offers more tee times for the local golfer. The tee time was part of a shotgun start in the afternoon. There was a problem with my reservation, but they added me to a group that had a cancellation. Make sure you have the confirmation email handy. We played in just over 3 hours and never saw a group ahead or behind us. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were fast and well manicured. There are some rocks in some bunkers, I hate to ding my wedges.
Lots of bunkers
The course is awesome and visually intimidating with all the bunkers everywhere. My only complaint is with so many bunkers you are bound to go in them and they should be much more playable. We had to pull out of them due to so many rocks and a gravel like sand. It was horrible to get a decent bunker shot. If you are going to have so many bunkers, at least make them playable.
Enjoyable round
The courrse was in good condition in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The generous fairways were nice and green. I noticed that they recently received new electric carts. The cart was very comfortable and smooth. Nice.
I arrived early for my tee time. The starter asked me if I'd like to go out earlier as he had an opening with a two-some going out. He said it would help balance out the pace of play. Works for me. I really like this course. It is fun and not too penal if you miss a shot.

This is a great course that does challenge you. Pick the right tee for yourself and enjoy.
The course is fun
Unfortunetly whenever we go to AZ it seems to be on the cooler side. We played this the end of Feb. the course is wonderful. Very fun to play. In excellent condition. the staff in both the pro shop and grill area are top notch. Would love to play there again!!!
Great course. Major frost delay. Did not tee off until 2:20. Just enough light to finish.
Unfortunately, the irrigation system came on the 15th hole for several minutes. Then, on 17, the sprinklers were on all around the green and we were unable to finish the Hole.
Can our green fee be adjusted at all?
Sprinklers came on 16 and 17!
This is unacceptable. It was BEFORE sunset and prevented us getting in all 18 holes.UPDATE YOUR SPRINKLER TIMERS !! We didn't get our money's worth
Really nice
Course was really nice, greens were great and really true rolling. Liked the overall layout and various challenges...water, sand, gravel, rock...still weird seeing so much rock around the fairways, but guess that's desert golf'n!
