About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Pleasantly Surprised
From the time we arrived everything was perfect. Very friendly at the counter, very organized, perfectly manicured practice facilities and course, super friendly starter group. Minor complaint with the rental clubs.
Course difficulty
The course exceeds my level of skill, a ton of bunkers. Nonetheless, the course and greens are in great shape.
Great overall condition
The course gives the weekend golfer a chance to roll it up. Greens running fast and smooth. Only issue is that the bunkers are not consistent and have pebbles/stones in them
Nice Course but during trasition
Course was in good condition but not excellent. Probably just getting close to transition to summer grass and close to aeration time. Overall nice course.

Over booked
The starter had no clue how to handle the backup of golfers. I have played 3 to 4 times before and this has never happened. I would love to get my money back!!!
Great round
The course was in good shape and played in 3 hours. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this course.
Back to being the crown jewel in sun city
The course has shown great improvement in the last year. I actually had written a poor review for this course a year ago because the course conditions and overall experience had declined so much from previous high standards. However course looks like it's back on track fairways green and lush, bunkers raked, and greens that rolled extremely true. Great to see its back to being excellent and its previous top echelon self. Play this course it won't disappoint.
Worth the drive
As the snow birds leave, Corte Bella offers more tee times for the local golfer. The tee time was part of a shotgun start in the afternoon. There was a problem with my reservation, but they added me to a group that had a cancellation. Make sure you have the confirmation email handy. We played in just over 3 hours and never saw a group ahead or behind us. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were fast and well manicured. There are some rocks in some bunkers, I hate to ding my wedges.
Lots of bunkers
The course is awesome and visually intimidating with all the bunkers everywhere. My only complaint is with so many bunkers you are bound to go in them and they should be much more playable. We had to pull out of them due to so many rocks and a gravel like sand. It was horrible to get a decent bunker shot. If you are going to have so many bunkers, at least make them playable.
Enjoyable round
The courrse was in good condition in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The generous fairways were nice and green. I noticed that they recently received new electric carts. The cart was very comfortable and smooth. Nice.
I arrived early for my tee time. The starter asked me if I'd like to go out earlier as he had an opening with a two-some going out. He said it would help balance out the pace of play. Works for me. I really like this course. It is fun and not too penal if you miss a shot.
Fun course

Generous fairways with challenging Greens protected by water and bunkers just the right amount, a good test

The conditions of course were great. We will play again if HOT DEAL appears.
