About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Do not play here
If you want to spend six hours to play a round and be insulted by the pro shop staff, this is the course for you. When we complained about pace of play we were insulted. Course is in mediocre condition. Much better options available.
Decent course for the price
The course is in decent shape. The bunkers are horrible. They definitely need to add sand and make them more consistent. The greens are pretty good still for this time of year. Overall I would recommend giving it a try.
Poor Course conditions
The greens are terrible...splotchy patches of short moldy grass...like putting on glass; the sand in the traps was like cement. There were weeds all over the course , dead plants and the rocks have disintegrated and in need of re-rocking in many, many places. You are forced to use their carts because of a "liability issue" even though all other courses in SSW and beyond do not have that requirement...a real hassle. The SSW courses are in awesome shape, less expensive and we can use our own cart. This course was a great course 8 years ago, but has steadily declined due to poor maintenance. A real shame!
Over rated they have a lot of work on the course to do. I am glad I used golf now because if I had to pay there normal rate I would have been really disappointed
Best SCW Course
The pace was a bit slow and the greens had dry dirt spots. Golf experience on the great course is always great.
Greens need attention
Course had a challenging layout, but it needs some work. Greens need some work. I putted on the practice green prior to teeing off and hoped that the greens on the course would be better. They were not. Several greens had skinned spots on them which needs to be addressed.
Great find
This course is a long drive from where I stayed but was worth it. The staff was welcoming. The holes were challenging but fun. The greens rolled really nice. We played the 8:30 shotgun start. Waited a little but still finished up at 12:20. Would definitely play again.
Great venue
Greens not as quick as last year, but played early morning. Overall nice course.
Nice layout
This is a scenic course with plenty of variety in design...Greens are in somewhat rough condition yet very fast...Fairways/tees are in good shape...Nice place,good staff...
Great course
We found this course to be perfect for vacationing golfers. Its not so technical that you need lots of rounds under your belt to enjoy it, but there are lots of holes that are challenging enough. Turf is well maintained, fairways and greens are soft. Would definitely play it again.
Interesting course
Lots of Sand traps, not a long course. some elevated greens. Over all a nice course.
great course
Shotgun start for a.m. t-time--unique. In great shape but could have more sand in some of the bunkers. No practice bunker. Greens, tees and fairways couldn't be better. Staff cordial. Got behind a slow 4some--they were a hole behind but still played in under 4.5 hrs.
Just Right..Private Club Feel
I have played this course before, and like it a lot. It is challenging but fair without to many hills. Fairways are open. Not many trees but a lot of traps. Greens are the best I have encountered so far in the valley, and are fast.
Pro's are very helpful, and they do a good job at keeping the pace play at a reasonable pace
