Corte Bella Golf Club
About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Get ready for some sand.
The course was very enjoyable to play. The par threes were some of the best i have played down here in the Valley. Some were lengthy and surrounded by water or large sand bunkers. The greens were true for putting. I look forward to playing this challenging course again.
Great course
Great golf course with suburb greens, good value.
Always in great shape
Will book again
Review
Tee box to green course was in good shape. Traps in good shape. Ranger Was a bit of a pest to our group but very appreciative that we moved right along. Round was played in a little over 4 hrs so we moved right along. Greens were fast and true. Overall a good experience
Great day at Corte Bella
Course was in good condition, challenging but fair.
Staff treated us like private club members.
Corte Bella Golf Course .
A very enjoyable course to play. I thought it was great. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Great course
Course was in excellent condition , is forgiving but still very challenging. pace of play was great. Very friendly staff.
Awesome course
It was my first time playing here. My tee time was at 1pm and I realized everyone tee time was at 1pm too. It was my first time experiencing the shotgun tee time method. Each group was assign to a hole number and every one tee off the same time. So I was a tad confuse at first but I realized it was a great way to utilized time for everyone. The green condition was great. Roll a tad fast but it was kept immaculate... The rough was not bad and fairway was great. I stumble upon this gem due to a hotdeal offer. I would definitely comeback to play this course in a heartbeat.
Greens were challenging
First time playing at Corte Bella, and we will definitely return. The course was beautiful, and the holes were varied. The greens were fast, and they undulated so there were tiers on the green making it more challenging to hole out the putt.
All in all, it was a great course, and we have this on our list to play again next year.
Sub-division heaven!
I'm usually not enamored with courses that are woven through housing developments but this course really fit the surroundings. The houses were set back well out of play and always on a raised bank, also very nice houses that flowed with the desert landscapes.the course itself was truly beautiful, generous fairways but with tricky bunker locations, every hole had its own unique look to it, fast greens but they held the approach shots.Simi private course a touch on the snotty side, but if I lived there I would be too.
Windy
A windy day throughout Phoenix made for challenging playing conditions. The wide fairways helped even though several holes played really long. Greens were.fast and fairways firm. Active CC with good golf for value. Played a 1 pm shotgun for second time, and as before played in four hours,YES!
Greens Fast and True
Course in nice shape overall -post overseeding season. Very nice driving range and putting green for warm up.
Staff courteous, friendly and competent throughout.
Clubbed down as greens, while fast, were not holding scoring irons - so suggest you go down a club and expect some roll out.
Group in front lost pace, but ranger stepped them up mid round, and thus we were through our 18 in just over 4 hours; Very good for a weekend mid day round.
Good for all levels
This course is one of my favorites in NW Phoenix. Lots of bunkers but friendly mounding helps. Excellent greenskeeper shows everywhere. Greens can be very challenging depending on pin placement. Not too many hazards to carry from the tees so higher handicap players will appreciate this. Lots of cold water dispensers. Great staff. No bevie cart was the only negative.
Great Course
Great course will play again.
Disappointed did not get to play back nine.
Members jumped ahead of me and slow play. Went back and played front nine. had course all to myself. Great.
Nice Track
It started pouring rain, on the 3rd hole, stopped by the 10th. I still managed to shoot 89 on the front, so my thoughts about the course might be biased. However, I really like this layout, and even from the whites it is long enough.
Corte Balla Golf Club
This is the second time I have played Corte Bella and it is now one of my favorite courses to play in the entire Valley of the Sun.
The course is in immaculate condition. The greens roll as true as any as I have ever putted on. The course has an interesting layout but is not tricked out. The fairways are wide and forgiving for those who spray the ball. At $30.00, it is the best value in town - hands down!
Playing Corte Bella
The course is in good shape and the surrounding neighborhoods are excellent for a senior community. The nicest Sun City West community I've played in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue I have is that the seniors who live and play out there don't like the "GolfNow" people. Don't expect them to be all that welcoming or friendly.
Course is in excellent condition.
The course is very well maintained and very forgiving for the average golfer. All skill levels will enjoy this course. You get alot of bang for your buck when you play here.
Good thing I bought a new sand wedge. Tons of traps.
This was a beautiful course. I will be playing here more often.
