Rating 32.0

Located in Hollywood, Eco Golf Club boasts one of the most beautiful executive courses in south Florida. The course offers the challenging design features of a full-length course in a convenient nine-hole layout. It is the perfect option for golfers who don't have time for a full round but still want a challenging game. Accuracy will be greatly rewarded as well as the ability to putt to narrow, undulating greens. It is a great opportunity to get in some quality iron practice that you wouldn't be able to achieve at a driving range. Eco Golf Club is a greater challenge than most nine-hole courses and the fairways and greens stand up against most of the other courses in the area, including the championship courses. Some memorable holes are the fourth, a sharp dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, which is arguably the course's most difficult.

Surprising

I have played golf for 62 years. I have played well manicured layouts and not so well manicured. I find golf is no more than hitting a little white ball, in a field, with implements ill designed for the purpose. I thought after playing the short par three first hole, it was going to be an executive course experience. Much to my surprise, it allowed me to hit every shot in my bag, driver included. If you need a pristine course to enjoy yourself, it's not for you. But if you like golf for golf's sake, give this course a try. It is the best bang for your buck in south Florida. And pro shop attendant Peter is the best!

Fun Nine

What Eco lacks in length, it makes up for it in width. This is a tight nine hole course with a lot of variety. Small greens make it a nice challenge with your irons. I have played here for years and still enjoy the layout. I do wish they could do a better job of taking care of the greens, always well mowed but a lot of sick patches as well. The rest of the course is kept in pretty decent shape, carts are clean and and the staff is really friendly. Eco is a challenging hidden nine hole course that's definitely worth playing.

Attitude by staff

I would never go here again. The women taking our money had an attitude. She should get a new job.

Got what I paid for

Truly the worst golf course I have ever played. Website makes it look A LOT better than it actually is. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Course conditions were awful (although the greens were only “bad”). I guess one shouldn’t expect much for $21. Still, it wasn’t an unpleasant outing - but I should have just gone to a driving range.

A sleeper

I thought it was a par 3 executive course. Pleasantly surprised. First hole is short par 3, but final eight are challenging, and you get to hit every shot in your bag. Might be best bang for your buck in South Florida!

Super Fun!

The course is super fun. I get my monies worth playing here. The greens and fairways can use some work but I see the staff out there tending to the course so they’re working on it. Staff is awesome.

Really great time

I thought this was gonna be a real short course. It’s actually really decent for the money. Also has a par 5 that I didn’t think would be on a executive course. Drinks are cheap, Carts are the nicer electric and self braking/park so you don’t have to hope for the cart to lock. Greens vary but most are crowned so that’s the challenging part of the course.

Not worth it at all !!

$30 after taxes and fees, this course is not worth $10. I have tried this course before during the summer to get in a quick nine and conditions were rough although I thought it was just because of dry grass hot summers etc. after returning the conditions are not rough they are atrocious. There is no fairway there is no roof there is no first cut, The only thing there is is basically just a field of grass in front of a Teebox, let’s get into the Teebox they are basically nonexistent and just another bunker full of sand. Yes you are teeing off of sand. The greens are probably the worst greens I have ever seen in my life, to charge the same amount as neighboring par 70s like Hollywood beach golf club this course truly is a scam. The last time I would ever play here.
