East at Orangebrook Country Club

About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Not for serious golfers
Great place to play and enjoy the great outdoors. Fairways and tee boxes are good not great. Front 9 greens are pretty weeded to the point that you can't put straight with having you ball bounce all over. I don't mind coming here and playing for fun and getting my reps in but just know what the expectation is before you play.
Discourse needs attention on the greens. They were a bit bumpy.
For the price, it was great. Could actually work on your drivers Fairway irons and shipping not bad at all.
New Staff
The starter was a new young guy. Very friendly professional and organized. Totally different from who usually works that position.
Horrible conditions. Not worth it!
"Greens" if that's what they call them are in horrible condition! Lost 3 balls in the first 4 holes in the rough. 10 feet right from the fairway in the rough and your ball dissappears.
Grass outside of fairway in need of trimming. Losing balls in open sight. Friendly staff.
Great Value
Our group played the East course, I can appreciate the improvements being made around the course and every time I visit OB it just continues to look better, cant wait for my next visit
The course needs attention to the greens
The Courses fun to play the fairways are in decent condition. The only issue is the grains. They’re very bumpy too much weeds. overall, for the price I would play here again

I’d rather pay an extra $30 to play in a better course
Absolute trash course
The course is garbage, tee boxes are trash and the greens are some of the worst in south Florida. It’s not even worth the $36 morning tee time. I’ll never play it again. Orangebrook you need to do better. Don’t waste your time playing here.
Lack of staff
They do not have a Marshall on staff and the conditions of the course need to improve very patchy greens
Pleasantly surprised
For $36… this place is fantastic. East is more challenging than west. Fairways are solid. Most tee boxes are good. Greens are slow but clean
