East at Orangebrook Country Club
About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Beautiful course. The staff? Not so much.
Orangebrook is a decently maintained and challenging course unfortunately some of the staff members, particularly the cart return guys are not the most customer service oriented group.
These nimrods come over to your cart while youre obviously cleaning it out and getting your belongings together and just stand there with dumb looks on their faces.
Then you have the heavy set bald guy who instead of kindly reminding everyone to make sure they have their wallets and phones, etc. He's barking orders.
Does he not understand that we are paying customers?
I won't be playing this course again.
Meh
The fairways are acceptable. The greens and out if bounds are horrible
East course is awesome!
Great course for the money. In good conditions for a city course. The staff is super nice and always happy to help.
Slow Play
The group in front of us play really slow. At one point they had 3 open holes ahead of them. We called the pro shop for a ranger. Who fail to show up. Or never send anyone.
Awful grounds
Awful upkeep. Rough is crab grass, just cut the grass and the clippings were all over the place inches high.
Good course for what you pay!
The greens were not in great shape, but the fairways were! I think it’s a great value for what you pay for
Orangebrook East course
Course was in terrible shape. Greens were in bad shape, fairways had too much tall grass, lots of tree debris from past and recent storms. Course should be closed and rehabbed. If not offer a 59% discount to play. West course is in great shape. They should take care of East course..
Horrible Conditions
The greens are in horrible shape should be closed until they can fix it. Never played on greens so bad in my life. Will not be coming back, they should have informed me it was in such a deplorable condition when I checked in
Burned greens
Nice Layout! Poor conditions due to drainage....greens (or better Browns!) completely burned. Putting almost impossible.
Friendly staff.
Beautiful course. The staff? Not so much.
Orangebrook is a beautiful, well designed course that is challenging, rich in natural beauty, and is a pleasure to play.
However...some of the staff need some major lessons in customer service. Particularly the cart guys. And just a heads up... i dont the cart guy to tell me unload the trash from my cart 7 times. I'm an educated+commonsense kind of guy who always tips out, including the starter, kid at the front where you can put your bags.
Work on common sense and respect Maybe I'll come back.
Course in terrible shape.
We played this morning and the course looks like it hasn’t been cared for in years. The greens were brown from neglect. Putting was impossible due to the terrible greens conditions. I would stay away until they fix the course.
Soggy
My brother and I played the East Course. Course condition was cart path only. South Florida has received a great deal of rain over the past several weeks. All greens on the east course are dead, completely brown. A majority of the fairways were soggy, so much so that we considered them as casual water. Although there are employees present, it would be better to close this course and allow the east course a chance to rehab.
