East at Orangebrook Country Club
About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Orangebrook West
Good report quality for Price, but 52$ is a limit for that type of course
Pace of play is horrible
This course is packed 24/7 with mainly older players. Be ready to spend 7 hours here for a round and hopefully get to finish. It’s ridiculous how poorly managed their tee sheet is. I wouldn’t play here for half the price
Lucky Me today
It had rained the day before and the overcast may have chased some folks away. My luck! The starter was extremely friendly and told me to go ahead as a single as the tee box was empty. No one in front of me or behind me. The rain really help the course and it played well. 2 1/2 hour round, not sure I'll see that again.
Average day
Good organization, played on time, starter very nice and flexible. Course is average in terms of layout, condition, and features. Greens appeared to be new, not cut tight, and extremely slow. Clubhouse and locker rooms look untouched since the 1960s. No hot water. Facility upgrade needed badly.
East course
The course is in pretty good shape. Greens need a little work. There were some bad spots on them. Over all in good shape.I like both courses at Orangebrook. Had a friend fly in from out of state and had to rent clubs. They were old junk. Try and bring your own.
Small greens.
Played great.
Fun people.
Well worth it.
Orange Brook East - nice course
The cashier was not very friendly, and would not give us our starter receipt more than 15 minutes before our tee time. The course had a cart shortage, but only a 10 minute delay from starting tee time.
The course itself was in pretty good shape, but some bad spots on some greens.
Entertainment was provided by a thieving racoon that absconded with a sandwich from out cart.
East Course
It was a perfect day and we managed to get a full 18 in on twilight rate which is an amazing value. Course was in serviceble shape, a little soggy but definitely playable and the sunset was spectacular.
