Brookside Golf Club - C.W. Koiner Course

No sand in bunkers, uneven tee boxes, fairways average only thing in good shape was the greens. Better courses for the money

Had 11:50 tee time, but didn’t get to tee off until 12:40. Not enough carts. Once we got going, the pace was fine. Course was in good condition. Staff were generally friendly.

A golfers golf course - nice track. some of the toughest 4’s in town. good 3s, risk reward 5’s. greens roll true, ball checks up: for those looking for a golfers golf course, that’s all the info you need.

Showed up for my 5 pm tee time and noticed the course was backed up 4 groups (that were visible) at tee #1. I still checked in prior to tee time. The pro shop attendant said there was a 15-20 minute backup (Hello? 4 or more groups, backed up and 20-minutes?). Also, No carts. They said we should have one within 20 minutes. 3 groups were already ahead of me at check-in. So after about 35-45 minutes of waiting and only one group getting a cart I went to the desk. No one was there I could see. Considering the tee was still really backed up, no carts were available and there was only 90 minutes of day time left, I departed. Two days later my card was still charged. To me, this is pure, intentional robbery,

I WILL NEVER GO THIS PLACE AGAIN. This was my first golfing trip in California. I do understand its a pandemic and everyone wants to play golf. However, do the right thing, instead of the wrong thing. You will never get my $$ again and I encourage everyone else to be aware of BROOKSIDE GOLF thievery. It's not about the money.

To make it worse, GOLFNOW I could not find anyway and discuss the incident. I have used GOLFNOW for many years. If I don't get contacted by them, I will never use them again and will stop my organizations from using them..

I have played Golf here several times and one thing never changes. Majority of the staff but one young kid in the front are dicks. I come and use the range often and it seems like we are an inconvenience. When I call to ask questions they are one word answers. The course is in decent shape and the pace is decent. Just be ready for the dicks in the front.

With COVID-19 restricting to foursomes and having individual carts results in a great pace of play and allows a very enjoyable experience playing this course. The greens were in good shape and for the most part the fairways were good. This is one of the more enjoyable rounds that I have had at Brookside. A little over 4 hours for the round and it could have been shorter if we all kept our balls on the fairways..

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought several changes about at Brookside Golf Course. In addition to the on-course restrictions (leave the flagstick, no bunker rakes, semi-plugged holes), Brookside has limited groups to no more than 4 players and spaced tee times 10 minutes apart. This has greatly improved both pace of play and enjoyment. We played in just under 4 hours, unheard of previously at Brookside which was famous for packing in 5-somes and more. The course was in pretty good shape, the greens were excellent and the fairways mostly good.

the course is cool. The only problem i had was trying to dodge the sprinkler and Tee off at the same time on the 5th hole. They send you all these messages on the GPS about your location but won't turn the water off for you to play the hole. Please fix that

I made tee time at 12:50pm, but due to unknown delayed tournament i have waited more than one and half hours to play.

Number one course from the back tees has three par fours over 460 and three par threes over 200

The guy at the window was misinformed. I told him I was walking and then he charged me the full amount. $50. I told him no, that’s not right. I don’t need a cart. He said he had to charge it because of policy. He was confused with pre-paid. I should be able to pay walking rate.
