Don't miss this while playing Photo submitted by mk8q16ophx6477363 on 08/11/2020
Too hot without a beverage cart
104 heat index, packed course and the beverage cart ran out of Gatorade and shut down early by 3:00. Not sure why - usually better staff accomodations given the weather and number of golfers that day.
Great Father's Day at Stonelick Hills
I took my dad to Stonelick Hills for a Father's Day round and I was pleasantly surprised. I had not played this course since it opened in 2004 and it was well worth the money and the drive. The course was in perfect condition, the greens rolled true and the pace was decent (it was a Sunday morning/afternoon, we knew what we were getting ourselves into); plus the rangers were always out and making sure the pace of play was being closely monitored. I have nothing but good things to say about the course and the staff. We were treated very well and I will definitely play this course again.
You need to pay this course
This is one of the nicest courses you will plat. The course is in excellent shape, the design is top notch and the experience is worth the money. Jeff O the owner needs to be complemented ... it is all about the golf experience and that is tremendous. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
Always a great course except certain times on Sunday - a little slow. Great staff and lovely layout.
A hidden gem
A very challenging course from any teebox where you have to think your way around. Planning your attack off the tee is a good start. Greens are quite contoured so it was a bit of a handicap not knowing where to place your approach shots, but the greens were smooth and roll pretty true. Use the online designer tips to help. Wish they had a course layout booklet to purchase!
My favorite course in Cincy
Beautiful course with an amazing layout - some holes kinda woodsy, others more links-style. HUGE property, most holes you won't see another hole. Perfect mix of tough and easy holes, most holes have an obvious but clever "risk/reward" component to them. Some well-placed bunkers but not overkill. Always in great shape through the green, sometimes greens are a little beat up but they still roll well and are not too undulating. It's not cheap, but it is definitely worth it. Great staff and amenities. And a REAL buffalo off #10 tee. Play it and thank me later.
Great layout
This is a fantastic course. Layout is awesome, no cookie cutter, very challenging and fun. Always look forward to playing this course.
Fantastic layout and condition
I played the course for the first time this past week. The layout was interesting but not tricky. The course was very well-maintained. Cold fall morning in Ohio, but the grounds crew it done a great job and fairways and greens were very good. Highly recommend. Nine and 18 are both par fives with water and challenge.
A must play, Challenging, but fair
Every hole is a picture of art, designed well, very challenging. A must play if you Love golf. Thank You to the Staff, grounds people, It was the perfect course. THANK YOU ! Butch McKinney....We will be back.
Always a go to course - very friendly staff and usually good pace of play.
Phenominal, a must play.
What an awesome golf expierence. You cannot ask for more than what you get here. Free range balls and a nice practice facility. Tee to green is about as good as it gets. Everything is in perfect condition and they spare no expense. Greens are fast and roll true. You will not be disappointed when you drive out the gate. All of the staff is helpful and friendly.
Just remember, aim for the 150yd marker in the fairway and you can't go wrong.
Absolutely beautiful. We played on a day in which it had rained the past 24 hours and course was still in perfect condition. Helped that after the rain there was almost nobody else on the course. Hole 9 is an incredibly memorable hole.
Nicest public course in Cincinnati area
I don't usually pay this much for a round of gold (thanks, Golf Now) but I was looking for a really nice day and found a bit of a discount on a Hot Deal. Best conditions I've seen this year. Greens are occasionally treacherous, big and sometimes multi-tiered, but roll fast and true. I'd say this rivals a country-club course.
Sweet course
Play great golf there on g now . Com played with a married couple the nicest people u could play with an playing with them an shot great golf Scott Butler
Beautiful Coarse
I am a 2 times a month golfer but this course was beautiful! The water, although not a hazard on every hole, made the scenery. The 9th hole is fantastic. The course was a little wet but could tell it was very well maintained.
Excellent Course
For a daily fee course, it is a little overpriced, but they do have great and affordable membership options. Stonelick Hills is in my opinion one of the best courses in the tri-state area. No two holes are alike. The course is extremely challenging from the tips, but there are at least 5 sets of tees allowing the course to be enjoyed by all. The 9th and 18th holes are two of my favorite holes in all of golf. This is a must play course. I am strongly considering joining as a member even though I live 35 miles away. It is a course that I could play every day and never get tired of the layout.
Well put
