Well kept course
Course was in great shape and the pace of play was perfect. There are a few placement holes and a few that make you decide to go for the green or not, which made it very fun. Course is well configured with trees, water, bunkers, and hills.

Poor Conditions
Went to Savannah and was very disappointed in this course. Tee boxes in bad shape, greens in bad shape. Greens were recently aerated and was not warned. I would not have wasted my day in Savannah on this course.

Crosswinds
Course needed a range officer. Multiple 4-6 person groups playing “ longest ball”, and hitting multiple balls from fairway. Some w/o any range courtesy.

Course under repair
Bare green and fairways. This place use to be awesome, i assume covid caused it to go downhill. I would not pay $44 dollars again in the near future.

Poor course condition
Used to play here quite often ten years ago. The course has changed so much and not for the better. Greens and fairways were in very poor shape. Not sure what happened. Lots of trees have been removed from the course also. Didn’t even feel like I was playing the same course that I had years ago. Won’t be back specially after driving an hour and a half down from Charleston.

Great Air Show
Fairways were in great shape except for #2 please put some sod around that 150 yd mark too many years same problem in that spot.
I had read greens were in poor shape but only a couple were not that good, particularly #15. You can tell a lot of hard work going on making improvements on greens and the overall course, it should be great when complete.

Fun Golf
Course was in pretty good shape.
Fairways were very good.
Greens were good, a little on the slow side but I’m sure will be quicker soon. 4 or 5 greens on the back were under repair but they should be back to normal in a month or so.
Good value, friendly staff.

Crosswinds review
Fairways are in great shape however, too many greens are absolutely horrible. Yet they still want to charge a premium price to play. What they need to do is make some temporary greens and fix the really bad ones.

Not worth the price
I’m going to assume the pandemic and staffing issues hit Crosswinds hard. I don’t recall it being bad prior. On the 18 hole course, The greens are in bad shape and there is a lot of bare areas on the low spots of the fairway. The par 3 course is decent. Still not worth the price. Staff is friendly though!

Great Layout - Give it a chance
We showed up skeptical because a number of reviews leading up to our visit made the course seem like it was in bad condition. The area has not had a ton of rain so it was dry in areas, but not unplayable. The layout is fun and challenging. You are right near the runway for the Savannah airport which provided some cool flyovers from a squadron of F-14s that day. On the back nine there were definitely some greens that needed help, but this is NOT from poor maintenance. The course removed a ton of trees to provide more sunlight to those greens that are already starting to mend. Everyone in my group enjoyed the course, the staff and time we had. Can't wait to come back.

Spend your money elsewhere.
Staff was great. Condition of course was not good...80% of greens were in horrible condition...they should be called "browns" not greens. They removed a ton of trees. So, there is very little to no shade...and no division between fairways.

perfect day of golf
played 18 mid-morning on 4/27. Course is in generally excellent shape, but a few greens are coming in. 3,11,16,and 17 are not in very good shape right now. All the others rolled really well considering a recent aeration. Snack bar wasn't open, so bought cans of beer in the pro shop. Still a reliable stop in Savannah.
