Nice Layout & Staff
Greens and fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was good also. Recommend playing here.

Great play
Course conditions have improved since early season where greens were in bad shape. Most tee boxes are fine with a couple struggling with too much water on them.
It’s hard to gauge how much to water tee boxes but they need to be level to keep from losing grass when you have a deluge. Course played long because of recent rains.
I’ll definitely play again.

Excellent par three course
Well kept fairways and greens. The holes are all different and challenging in unique ways. Calm but not boring course.

Unplayable greens due to fertilizing
The course itself was nice with a challenging layout but the greens were nearly unplayable due to the massive amount of sand fertilizer they spread on then and the aeration was terrible.

Good place to wrk on your game
This par 3 course is an excellent place to work on your short irons and putter. It is price friendly and easy to navigate. The 3 different tees offer different look and different shots/club options to help improve your game. My only complaint is that 2-3 of the tee boxes had no grass at all. I will frequent this course in the future.

If you love airplanes!
This is a course for you. The golf was good. Fairways and greens were in really food condition and the layout was challenging. The best part however was the free airshow you are admitted too golfing at Crosswinds. Sitting next to the airport you can see the runway from multiple holes and see all the planes, including the Georgia Air National Guard jets, take off and land. A fun treat along with a good round of golf.

hot day, poor course conditions
of course the the golf course can 't control the weather but they can control the course conditions. the fairways had many un-grassed areas, the fairway grasses were way too long, the greens used to be some of the best in the savannah/chatham county area but they have continually degraded to the point now that they are below average. quite disappointing. the cart paths in many areas are so bad they are dangerous. they have spent a good bit on the sand traps and chose a really sandy "sand", which is okay if you like sand. Overall, it seems the course management has not evaluated the problem areas nor tried to improve them. too bad because it is an interesting layout.
