About
ZenWoods Golf Club (formerly known as Point O' Woods Golf Course) is a nine-hole, par-30 course that is truly a hidden gem in that it can be a tricky course to find. Located in Inverness, the course is popular with local golfers as well as visitors who can actually find it. The golf course wraps around a large lake that is home to an abundance of wildlife. The layout is a favorite among seniors for its walkability and it's also a great spot for families since it's a player-friendly round for all skill levels. The bunkering is sparse but strategically placed and scattered trees also demand accuracy. The lake acts as a water hazard on a few holes as well. Though ZenWoods Golf Club is gentle enough for beginners there are still some tricky holes that will test your skills.

Took a look at the course it needs a lot of work didn’t play don’t waste your money
Is this course even still in business?
Pre-paid for a round for my daughter and I. We showed up 15 minutes early for a 1030 tee time. Place locked up tighter than a drum. Single car in parking lot. Phone rang off the hook, we could hear it from outside. Waited 20 minutes; still no one there. Had to call the credit card company and dispute the charge. I'm just disappointed that I cannot give this place the zero stars it actually earns. Don't waste your money

Beautiful day for a walk
Staff very nice. Course is rough, weedy and lacking grass. Greens are unputtable. Alligator was cool.

Played the course again; I didn't do any better than the last time, but only lost 2 balls.
Need to return and practice it again. Excellent staffing.

Course is in terrible condition and looks like it had been for some time. A shame, because it looks like at one time it was a beautiful course.

Fun golf on rough conditions
The place is a goat track, but it's cheap and it's golf. Tiny greens and weed infested fairways will challenge your ball striking and short game skills. Think of it as Rambo training. If you can score well here,you can play anywhere. Great place to take beginners, or the kids. Great for walking and hitting the ball!

Course matched my practice area; felt right at home. Didn't play any better but had fun with the wife providing course guidance.
Very poor
This course was bad.. very bad up keep, all weeds in the sand trap, tee box grass was bad, putting greens where bad holes all over, cart was very bad. Everything thing about this course was bad…. Doesn’t waste you money..
This course is horrible
This course is absolutely horrible. Bad lay out, greens are horrible. Just everything about this Course is absolutely horrible. Weeds all in the sandbox. Tee off area not kept up. As a matter fact, the whole course is not kept up.

First time playing this Course. The grounds were very rough and poorly maintained. For the money the course was good.
Very fun
My parents came down from NC to a camp ground. I came up from Sarasota, FL and pitched a tent for a couple of days. My father and I aren't the best at golf, but play from time to time. Wanted a golf course to just go have fun and relax. Due to the virus and all, the course isn't in the best shape, but who cares if you are just to go out and have fun. Saw 2 alligators, one really huge and one baby! Everyone that played there were great and friendly. The owner was awesome! Had a blast just playing for a few hours!
!st 9 holes. this year here in Florida
I am a bogey shooter most of the time, but I have some good shots which draws me to the game. Right from the start everyone I met were pleasant, I pre regestered so I got there and got a cart and they sent me out 10 minutes early so the ladies didn't chase me. I've never played golf in Florida so I wasn't familiar with the sand and it took me 6 holes to start hitting the ball solid. My score wasn't impressive but I really enjoyed the experience, I can't wait to go back Tuesday and play in a mens outing with some guy's I met afterwards,
No one there to get any service or carts
This was a first for me.
