About
ZenWoods Golf Club (formerly known as Point O' Woods Golf Course) is a nine-hole, par-30 course that is truly a hidden gem in that it can be a tricky course to find. Located in Inverness, the course is popular with local golfers as well as visitors who can actually find it. The golf course wraps around a large lake that is home to an abundance of wildlife. The layout is a favorite among seniors for its walkability and it's also a great spot for families since it's a player-friendly round for all skill levels. The bunkering is sparse but strategically placed and scattered trees also demand accuracy. The lake acts as a water hazard on a few holes as well. Though ZenWoods Golf Club is gentle enough for beginners there are still some tricky holes that will test your skills.

Good warm up
Good course for iron work. Greens are small but require good putting. Tee boxes need work yet.
Great valve
This was a fun course great to play if you haven't played in a while nice warm up. Staff was great they have stuff going on it was my first time but seems like a really nice place.
Not a real golf course
This Par 30 course is nothing more than weeds and crab grass between the tees and green. The fact that you can score some incredible deals in Citrus County for less than $20 per round should not even allow this course to register on your radar,
Challenging Little Course
I found this course challenging, especially for a par 30 executive course. The sand traps and greens were in good shape for this time of year and the staff members were VERY friendly. I had a great afternoon of golf with some really nice folks. If you're looking for a challenging course that offers friendly staff and nice folks check this little gem out. You won't regret it!!
Know what to expect!
This isn't a "real" golf course in the sense that many holes are just tee boxes and greens with absolutely nothing manicured in between - and the tee boxes were in really rough shape when we played. "Cow Pasture" is harsh but accurate but the greens really weren't as bad as that.
This is a place where if you are in the area and want to get out and hit some balls around and enjoy the outdoors then you will have fun. It is not a place to come if you are looking for the normal manicured golf course experience, nor a destination for sure.
The staff was very friendly though and we did make the best of our day in spite of our initial shock at the course condition.
I wouldn't go there if it was free
This is the poorest excuse for a golf course there is !!!
Excellent Value
Course was in good shape considering amount of rain the area has receivied lately. Fairways were in very good shape. Greens were about average for courses in the area. Will probably be very good after fall seeding. The course is a very challeging course requiring accuracy. The staff is incredibly friendly and the local gofers are friendly and fun to be around.

First Time at Point O Woods
Excellent price through Tee Time Hot Deals. We like the course set up. However, course conditions were poor. Greens were rough, and lost a few balls in tall fairway grass.

I'm sorry you had such an unfavorable experience at our course. You came on a day when we had 8 straight days of rain in the evening prior to your visit, leaving the golf course soggy and unable to mow. We also were in the middle of reconstructing some tee boxes. This is NOT the normal condition of our course.
