Blue Cypress Golf Club

This course is really nice for the price. The greens were in fantastic shape. Some of the fairways were a little muddy but it also has been raining heavily in the area the last few days.

I did notice that there were no bunkers on any of the holes which I thought was strange.

Staff was very friendly.

Will definitely be returning!

This was my first time playing Blue Cypress and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the course layout. Had a great time playing today!

This course is doing really well after the reopening. It is a good course with a nice range and practice green. The pro shop is nice and has a wide selection of snacks and drinks. The rates are fantastic, people 18 and under play free and the normal 18 rate is only 20 dollars (at least it was when I played). The course itself is nice, the greens are in good shape and the fairways are okay, some rough areas. The tees are sandy but playable. The course deserves more of a 3.5 star rating overall. The course itself is not hard, mostly straight with little water, there is a lot of trees but bunkers are scarce. It is a short course with the tips being 5800 for 18. Overall might play again if I’m in the area.

Course is on the rise. Greens roll true and a good practice nine. Great suggested course for the beginner golfer. Keep working on the tees and fairways and the course will be a solid place to play.

pretty nice greens, all flat, no bunkers, but it was still fun and will return. Not a lot of trouble as long as you keep it in or near the fairways. Some holes bit challenging simply based on the distance. The flat ground means you only get what you hit,lol.

The greens were some of the best I’ve seen in Jacksonville and from arrival to departure the staff what is very friendly. This course is great for beginners and those looking to learn the game because of its lack of hazards of any kind. The pace of play was fine until making the turn to play our second round of nine holes where there was quite a wait. But the staff was awesome and accommodating for this. I definitely will be making a return to Blue Cypress.

Excellent staff. Course is getting better each day. A fun layout for all skill levels. I will be back.

Not much too it... No sand very little water., Short course for beginners and average players, scratch golfer would probably be bored... Nice greens.. Good if you want a quick 9

Played a twilight round yesterday. Great value for the money. We had a 5 man group in front of us so the pace of play was very slow, but the course is in great shape for a municipal facility. Greens were in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes were more than acceptable. The rough can be a bit dodgy, but that’s part of the challenge. Overall a fairly easy course, laid back experience. Definitely would recommend.

needs some work, carts are old. but fun course to play.

I haven't ever played on a course this bad in my life, but you never know until you try. Not worth the money or time. I will never play there again

GREENS WERE TERRIBLE, FAIRWAYS FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM WERE LIKE PLAYING IN A COW FIELD
I CANT BELIEVE THEY CHARGE SIMILAR TO ANY OTHER COARSE WITH THESE CONDITIONS !!
I WILL NEVER PLAY THERE AGAIN, EVER !!
