Tooth 9-hole Course at Orange County National
About
The Tooth Course is a popular nine-hole executive course at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility also features two 18-hole regulation courses. The Tooth Course mimics the shape and challenges of its sister courses but on a smaller scale, making it an ideal place for golfers to sharpen their game. The course is especially useful for getting practice with irons. The course offers strategically placed bunkers, a lake that comes into play on four holes, and subtle elevation changes. Orange County National welcomes younger players to play the Tooth, allowing them to play free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Is this what they mean by Drive the Green!? Photo submitted by CraigByKDW on 05/17/2016
In Great Condition... little costumer service
The Golf was wonderful. Lush fairways & true rolling greens. Interesting layout.
Unfortunately, management's attention was lacking.
As first time visitors to the complex, little guidance was given to find our way around. No score card or layout of property provided. We came up on a 5 cart "9-some" after the 2nd hole... SLOW play, following that circus. With 3 mowers roving back and forth, someone should have passed along word to a Ranger. All 5 carts were driven to within a foot of the greens!!
It seemed all focus was getting ready for a shotgun start benefit at 1 PM. ... 10 AM guests were ignored.
Great Tune up
Perfect for short game and beginners
Nice little course
The course is a great place to spend 2 hours. It has a couple par 4 holes, but nothing is too challenging. It was in great shape, the range, clubhouse, and the rest of the facility was excellent. The service was great at every location - ranger, range guy, cart guys, bar tender, everyone. What a great place to bring your son/daughter or spend some time with dad!
A great course at a great price
Enjoyed the golf and the staff was excellent.
Distractions
There was an instructor with a student moving from hole to hole. We were waived up but there were a lot of balls on the green. they always seemed to be practicing every other hole we played; very distracting.
Excellent Short Course
Played the Tooth Course with my teenager son. I was extremely happy with the condition of the course including the greens which kept a nice speed on them. The course was wide open which was great for me to work on a variety shots. You have a couple of short par 4s and the par 3s are fun and you get a couple of par 3s over water. Working on your short game in Orlando, hard to beat Orange County National.
Bad experience
first of all, golf now advertises this as 18 holes, it's only 9 that you can play twice. We booked a hot deal which said it was 17 plus a cart. When we got there, the course was being seeded, so no carts were allowed. We ended up walking and staff found a push cart for my wife. The staff went out if they're way to accommodate and were really helpful under the circumstances. The course is really nice for mostly par 3's, however what ruined the round of golf was the sprinklers were on most of the 18 holes, on both the fairways and the greens. i am not sure why they did this or why they didn't warn us, but it ruined our round. I made a complaint to golf now as I booked the reservation with a cart. They said since I played the round, they only refunded me $10.
Great!!!!!
Par 3 course with 2 par 4s , great shape and fun!!!!!!
Pleasure to Play
Course was in very good condition. Even though there seemed to be several groups pace of play was fine. Best practice facility I've even seen. Over all a great place to play golf.
9 Holes at Tooth course
Excellent course for young kids. My daughter enjoyed
golf with granddaughter
This course allowed my 7 year old granddaughter to ride along with me at no charge
Executive course , mostly par 3's but challenging with sand traps and water
good variety of shots
Very well manicured from tee to green. Several ball marks left by inconsiderate golfers, otherwise greens were in great shape.
Great saeason starter
Great way to start the season, excellent weather, beautiful facility, courteous and friendly staff, nice way to work the short game into shape. Overall a pleasant enjoyable day. Wish I could return more frequently and play all the other courses, hopefully next year or late Fall.
Short course
The short course was very nice, pace of play was great for someone who is learning
Best executive course
This course is one of the hidden jems and has a very reasonable price to play.
Superior golf with a very serious staff
My phone laying partners and I were looking for a quick 9 so booked using Golf Now. We didn't realized de 'The Tooth' was an executive 9. It is beautifully maintained and has some very nice holes,
We found the staff to be pretty serious about things, this is a beautiful golf facility that we will return to to play one of the 18's, there are 45 holes and the largest practice facility I've ever seen,
Clubhouse wat staff got our food order wrong and $55 for lunch for 3 was a bit steep but you don't get bargains at a lot of clubs,
Junior Course
First game since Sept. so decided to play this junior course instead of going to the driving range !!
Fairways were in good condition and greens were excellent ! 4 water holes and well placed bunkers !
Now I'm ready to golf !
Fun day on a par 3 course
Challenging track, don't let the par 3 fool you... This is a great course 2 sets of tees so play it back to back for an 18 hole round. Fun and enjoyable day.
Best value ever
Could not believe the condition of this executive course as good as you get.
