About
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club offers two championship courses, the North and the South. Both courses sprawl across a verdant landscape covered with mature oaks, lakes, and ponds. The terrain is unusually hilly for Florida. Like the South Course, the North Course is undulating with a lot of movement but it has even greater elevation changes than the South, which provides scenic views of the surrounding community. On a clear day, golfers can see at least five miles to the northeast from the second tee. The North has a more modern layout that plays a little bit longer. Although the golf courses are nestled amongst rolling hills, Lake Jovita is situated just 30 minutes north of Tampa. The unique hilliness of the courses and their convenient location have made them some of Florida's must-play courses.

Played North course and it was great! Disappointed didn’t get chance to play south course

Course in great shape. Love playing either course. Must play if your in the area.
Beautiful course
Great course, very well maintained. Staff was super friendly. Greens were extremely well kept.
Always a great round at Jovita
Played the split north tees (white/green) for the first time. I’m 67 and the white yardage is just too long. The split tees made it more fun and the slope is still high if you care for handicap difficulty. Course is in great shape.
Great Florida Courss
The course is immaculate. Fantastic greens superintendent and staff.

Cart Paths need to lead somewhere.
Wondeful layout and condition! My only real complaint is that the cart paths don't come anywhere close to the tee boxes or greens, and carts are routed to the side at least 50 yards before greens. If you hit it right of the green and the path is left, you're walking a huge distance, and sometimes you can's see just what your shot's going to be. I carried 3 wedges across the course 3 times only to find I needed a club I didn't have. If you're 20 yards short, it's a walk to and from the ball, then move the cart yet again and walk 30 yards to the green. Also, we had an 11 AM tee time in busy season and the cafe was closed when we finished.
Always a good fun round at Jovita
Played as a single with 2 foursomes in front of me. Wait was not too bad... played in 4.25 hours. North course was in great condition.
North
I played the South course last month and I do like the north quartz a little bit better. Pretty much wide open with a lot of bunkers which I hit many of them.
Beautiful Day
Bueatiful day on the course. First time playing the North side. It didn't disappoint! Much more open than the South side. The course was in absolute perfect shape from tee to green. Lake Jovita is an outstanding place to play golf.

This is strictly a review for the day because I give them a 5 star rating in all my other reviews.
The course was in great shape for this time of year.
The club was hosting a large 3-day senior outing, so there were no carts available on time. Teed off late. Ended up waiting 15 minutes for every shot. Left after 10 holes.
The staff did the best they could and were very polite and helpful.
