About
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club offers two championship courses, the North and the South. Both courses sprawl across a verdant landscape covered with mature oaks, lakes, and ponds. The terrain is unusually hilly for Florida. Like the South Course, the North Course is undulating with a lot of movement but it has even greater elevation changes than the South, which provides scenic views of the surrounding community. On a clear day, golfers can see at least five miles to the northeast from the second tee. The North has a more modern layout that plays a little bit longer. Although the golf courses are nestled amongst rolling hills, Lake Jovita is situated just 30 minutes north of Tampa. The unique hilliness of the courses and their convenient location have made them some of Florida's must-play courses.

Great Course
Really nice layout with opportunities to hit all of your clubs in the bag. The traps need some white sand.
Pleasant Surprise
Course gave us the option of going out on the South Jovita instead of North Jovita. Although we like the North better, it was a nice change to golf the South. Course was in good shape and greens were fast and true. We will golf theNorth tomorrow.
Wonderful round
The course was in great shape and very enjoyable. The greens were nice but a little fast. The pace was perfect we played in 4 hours. The only criticism is their beverage cart service is poor.

I have played several courses in area and this course has always been in above average condition for the season. I Also enjoy my game!

The elevation changes on North course make for challenging shots. Makes for a fun day of golf.

Always in great shape
North Course
Used my golfnow plus rewards code, so the round was free.
At check in the guy said I owed 50$ for the round, but after I told him it should be pre paid, he said yeah, I see it now so not sure what that was about. Booked as a single but they said I'd be paired with others which is fine. The starter said if I wanted I could start at the 11th hole, and that I would be out ahead of the scramble that was starting and that worked out. Played in just over 2 hours until the last few holes.
Tees, fairways, and greens were all fine. Greens rolled smooth and fast. The layout is great, with great views and plenty of elevation changes.
A bit pricey in season but still it's a great course that never disappoints.
Great Time
As usual everything was great, from cart and bag loading, sign in, to super course conditions. Wow, even new carts with GPS!! What's not to like?

The new golf carts are great comfortable and now have GPS
Love this course. Fairways and greens are pristine. The Par 3 Hole 4 is fantastic!! Toughest hole is the Par 3 Hole 17.
Nice layout fast greens
Nice layout fast greens bunkers were in very poor condition. Standing water in most bunkers improper drainage and sand was washed away.
