Staff were very friendly, chicken salad sandwich at the turn was tasty and reasonably priced, but wow the course was in horrible shape. I've never seen it so bad, actually I don't think I've ever played a course in worse shape. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging $60 to play.

Probably one of the best layouts but with such a lack in maintenance absolutely disappointing if they had some money it could be awesome everything seemed dead needs serious care wish somebody could step in rates nothing better than a$30 course

Although the greens were OK, actually had grass it was the only place there was. The tee boxes were horrible! & fairways very brown & dry!

It always a pleasure to play at Tara because this course is a challenge

this was one of the more unique courses that we played during our stay in Florida. unfortunately the lack of rain meant that this course was very dry with hard fairways and dry greens. if you like interesting, challenging holes, then this is for you! we lost a lot of balls hitting blind around corners, over jungle, and into water. if you prefer a more traditional course then probably best to head elsewhere. an enjoyable, if somewhat challenging afternoon!

The greens were in the best condition I’ve seen in a long time. However, the fairways were brown and grass was almost nonexistent. I believe it’s because of the drought we’re going through

The greens were so bad, you could not putt a straight putt. The tee boxes were terrible, very little grass. The fairways were burned and bare dirt in many places. Too bad, could be a good course if properly cared for.

I was told sprinkler system is broke, weeds on the greens and brown fairways. Very poor conditions until it rains or sprinklers get fixed.

The clubhouse is very nice which to me adds to the experience. The course itself was ok but very dry due to the lack of rain. I did find the directions to the holes could be better and you’re typically riding your cart on dirt paths and the course looks a bit neglected. I paid $35 on GN so I could deal with it for a day out.

As usual, very poor course conditions. The only reason I play here is because the layout of the course is challenging. When will they put some money into the course.

Tee boxes need work, fairways are brown and hard. Paid 52.00 and I wouldn't pay 15 yo play it again. Stuff is nice, but no money going back in to course. Such a shame. Could be beautiful with some water.

Love the challenging layout!, but the condition was terrible! What’s happened to this “should be beautiful “ course? Come on whoever is in charge take one step at a time. Water! And then water some more! Take care of the greens. Why are there weeds on all of the them? I’d love to come back and play if there’s some improvement

Having played golf for 64+ years I was looking forward to this track as the pictures on GolfNow.com showed pristine tees, fairways and greens. This was by far the worst course I’ve ever played or seen for that matter. Tees has no grass and we’re wastelands, fairway grass was non existent with clumps of old grass visible on all. Bunkers haven’t been raked in weeks, maybe months. Green speeds were 2.0 on the stemp meter. Grass on greens was almost non existent. Either invest or shut this farm field down….

I’ve played golf for 64+ years and this was by far the worst course I’ve ever played. On GolfNow.com it’s shows pristine trees, fairways and greens. This was nothing but a burned out hayfield. Not one blade of green grass in sight. They need to shut it down and redo the entire course. If not just shut it down permanently.

I don’t understand how there were so many people playing on such a bad course. Everything was in terrible shape from the Tee boxes to the Greens. I can not really find a positive about this course. Maybe if they took care of the course it would be a fun and challenging course but in its condition your better off playing anywhere else.
