Course conditions: greens an tee boxes chewed up.

Course layout: tight tee shots. Misses=2 strokes

Pace: Get those league players to step it up. I drove off the 10th gateway after nearly 3 hours. I was looking at a 5.5-6 hour round.

Staff: took care of me afterwards and I’ll be playing there again because of the reasonable price, just not on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Tee boxes all closed; temporary tees horrible. Greens full of weeds, overgrowth.

Played this course previously-course has deteriorated miserably over the last few years!

Challenging layout, lots of water

Everything about Tara is nice. It's a good place to play for the money. If I have any suggestions, it would be to pay more attention to the greens. The tees and the greens are an area that everyone who plays are going to be on. They demand the highest priority. Other than that, we enjoyed our round.

Patchy greens and the tee boxes were dirt. Back nine a little bit better shape than the front. They shouldn’t charge over $20 to play this course. Plenty of other courses around for equal or lesser price that are actual golf courses.

Greens and tee boxes were sub-par for the cost. They should have offered way more hot deals for these issues or a discount . The greens were choppy, many with weeds and repairs. About 2/3rds of the tee boxes were being reseeded, so you had to tee off from odd areas that were not meant for teeing off. Will I go back, yes but it’s just a shame that they can get the $ they are asking. I’ll wait until the summer to go back.

Course has real potential. I've seen it in better condition. The course is fairly tight on several holes, with lots of water. If you don't hit them straight, bring some extra balls .

I’ve played the Preserve several times over the past few winters and am often satisfied with the conditions. However, this year the course is in terrible condition. The tee blocks on the front 9 are all under repair so markers are often placed on the downslope at front of tee box which is unacceptable. Fairways are fine but the greens need a lot of work. They appeared to have some type of weed growing in patches which makes putting inconsistent and difficult. It’s a shame to see this course in this condition. Wont be back again this year.

They should shut this place down. Every green diseased and impossible to putt. Tee boxes were atrocious.. the course is a disgrace. Stay away!!!!

The whole standard of the course has deteriorated, trees and bushes in front of the tees over grown and obscuring the the fairways. Greens in poor condition with dead or sand patches. Most times we had to tee off from rough grass as the tees were roped off as they were so badly damaged.

A great shame as it a course we really like.

Been playing this course for years due to the challenging layout. It had been awhile so my buddies and I figured we'd play a Christmas round. Folks, this course is by far the worst away in regards to conditions. Go ANY where else for the same price. Greens were beat up. Tee boxes had no grass. Fairways were burnt out and just plain awful. It truly looks like the grounds keeper decided to quit before lunch and never came back.....3 months ago. STAY AWAY

This is a course in terrible shape .. never again .. how can they have 15 holes without tee boxes and the ones they have are grey sand and NO grass .. 1/2 star at best
