The Spruce Creek Preserve Golf Club

This is my go to course, it’s convenient for me just a 20 minute drive and I generally can make a tee time one hour before I decide to play. I like that because I can monitor the weather and if something should come up that I can’t golf I have the liberty of not making a tee time. I like the course because it’s so easy to play.

Have played here several times in the last two months and this was the best shape I have experienced. Greens were good, fairways had more Bermuda than weeds and the rough was cut short enough so finding balls was not a problem. Great afternoon price of $20 will keep me coming back.

Most greens in wonderful condition & putted well. A few were very sparse & not even worth putting on.

Also fairways being taken over by some kind of crabgrass.

We only paid $12 each & was a lot of fun and also played quickly. We will be back because of the price.

Layout is awesome, plenty of challenging holes and a few not so challenging.

One green had some issues, but it is getting better.

I play spruce creek about once a week. It is definitely not the best course in the area but by far the most value. The green fee is under 25 most days and you can play as long as you want. Literally played through the Hurricane the other week and not one word was said. The staff here is amazing and I will continue to go here because they care.

Coarse is in better shape than the last time I play in July. Most of the greens are in good shape and the fairways and rough are mowed appropriately. Good value for the price.

The shame is that some groups of more than 4 are allowed to play as a group. I am sure they are regulars and believe they are not slowing anyone down. However, almost 5 hours to finish a round is ridiculous! The course is still struggling with some of its greens starting to get bare...

Course continues to improve. There were two grounds keepers working on the course and sand traps today. Staff is doing a good job improving the course.

This course continually improves. I’m can say the majority of the greens are smooth similar to Candler Hills or Sky View. The fairways are better than the past. The staff has made improvements to the property. Keep up the good work!

Many possibilities to resurrect this course. It will take hard work and $ to get this track “on course” You can tell it was better years ago. Greens are the best feature. Can’t guarantee you will see the deer walk up to you on the 2nd hole.

Pace of play was excellent at 3 hrs. Narrow fairways, need to be accurate. Greens were generally good, a few had bad spots. Tees need to be scalped. Fairways in decent shape considering the summer heat. Overall a great value. Will play this one again.

We love to play courses that are having a hard time. And this did not disappoint!! The course is mostly crab grass but the oaks trees are gorgeous. It’s sad because you can see what it was and could be. Overall the people were nice the pace was great but the course needs lots of maintenance that would cost millions to repair. Not sure what will happen to it.

Ok course the tee boxes were not well maintained but overall had a great time for the money and the restaurant wasn't great either to be honest
