Course in very poor condition.
I have paid at this course generally annually. This was the first time playing in 2023. The course was in very poor condition. Greens in good condition but tee boxes and fairways not maintained very well.
Fun 18 hole round!!
Husband and I had a great time playing at spruce Creek Preserve!! awe played 18 holes starting on number 10 finishing on number nine.
The course was in good condition love their greens!
No delays in our play! And the staff is always friendly and fast to take care of anything that we need.
Their pub/restaurant named Olivers was great too.. We had time to enjoy a sub with chips, then hit the course. Our waitress was great getting us in and out quickly!!
We even had time after the first 9 holes to grab a couple of cold beers for the last nine!
We look forward to playing there again soon!!
Disappointed
Lived in this community with my grandparents for a few months when I first moved down to FL. Granted that was in 2004 but this course was ALWAYS in great shape and one of my favorites in the area. I hadn't played there in like 10 years or so. From the moment I hit the first fairway I was disgusted with how bad the condition of this course is. It's a shame they don't take better care of it as it could be a great course like it use to be. I feel even if it was $10 to play that would be too expensive considering the condition 😕

Love the staff, they've been super friendly. The course needs work but the drought hasn't helped. Really love the layout..there are 3 par 5 s that are genuinely reachable in 2 with good tee shots, and several fun par 3s..it's a pleasant mix of tight fairways and dog legs , with a couple , if not 3 druveable par threes (I do play from the whites) ..love the value though..especially through the app..layer afternoon 12 follar rounds are a blessing for a budget golfer like myself.

Greens good
Most greens in good shape, with a couple on back nine under repair. Course is still ragged, with most fairways in rough shape. Expect to have to move your ball to get decent lie on fairways. Course in general is a good layout, not really long but lots of mature trees and tight fairways. Gave it 4 stars mainly because greens are decent, but they need to up their game regarding tee boxes and fairways!

Great Golfing Day
We played 9 holes yesterday and had no crowd in front nor behind us! Greens were in good condition! Fairways were not bad even from lack of rains in our area!
Staff is always friendly!! Oliver’s restaurant/pub is a great small place too!!
We enjoy playing there!!
Gone downhill
Used to play here about 10 years ago. Was in much better condition. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend. Got a very good deal on golfnow. I'd rather pay more for a course in good condition

Course in ruff shape, but it is Spring! Close to the highway and that makes it a little loud. I won't play there again. There are much better courses for the money.

Needs some TLC
The course needs some work. The fairways had lots of sandy spots, couple of greens were unplayable, There is plenty of potential for this course. I like the way the course was laid out, lots of variation. Fairways are somewhat narrow, but not too narrow. The greens that were playable were fair.It could be a great course with a little work.

Fun Easter Round
My dad and I play The Preserve at Spuce Creek several times a year. tt's often the best value near Citrus County where we live. The staff is always friendly, and the course fairly well kept. We have been without much rain over the last month or so so some spots on the fairways and a few greens. At times the pace can be slow when a good number of our local seniors are doing their best. God bless em all. In conclusion why I price a good pace and light traffic on the course, this course is a good challenge at a very fair price.
