The Spruce Creek Preserve Golf Club

The greens have improved, and the layout is a challenge...miss the fairway, and don't expect a perfect lie when you hit the ball in the woods..

Enjoyed playing the preserve with my friend who was visiting from SC. The price was right and the course was in pretty good condition for the time of year. Play was a little slow but we had wonderful weather to enjoy. Met some nice people in the clubhouse restaurant afterwards while enjoying a cold beer.

Each year Spruce Creek preserve seems to further deteriorate.

This course is in really bad shape. Fairways are all weeds. One hole we couldn't even figure out where the fairway was. Very disappointing.

Just getting back into golf and find the Preserve to be a course in good condition at a fair price. I have played 18 holes in the afternoon in 3 hours and have really enjoyed it.

The course for the money was very adequate. One green was in bad shape but all the rest were pretty good. The fairways were ok but if you got in certain places the grass was almost non existent. Overall it was an enjoyable round. Just don’t get too picky.

We have played this course many times and until today considered it one of our favorite old Florida courses. While most of the greens are in very good condition, 2 were unplayable with more dirt than grass , Fairways and T boxes were either bare or weed filled with crabgrass. Sad to see such a nice old course being so neglected!!!!

The greens were excellent, the fairways were average, and the tee boxes were adequate. For the money this is

an opportunity to play a well laid out course and further

develop your skills. Staff were courteous and professional. Facilities were clean and safe. Great practice areas to include putting green, sand trap, and

driving range. The PRO is an excellent instructor.

Course needs some work. Several of the fairways have bare spots, and the 12 green is horrendous!

22 years ago this was a beautiful course to play. In the intervening years it has become a place in dismal disrepair. Today $5.00 would be overchargeing players. The tee boxes are mostly bare ground and weed patches. The fairways have the same problem with bare ground, cow grass and patches of grass that's perhaps a quarter inch high. The greens were playable but putts didn't roll true. It will take an incredible amount of attention and money to bring this course back, and I don't see this happening.
