Course was in really bad condition had a lot of complaints from my foursome
Ok
Paid $13 and that's what it was worth, seemed to start off good but after 7 holes the conditions got worse. I don't mind getting in the rough but when there's broad leaf weeds mixed in with normal rough it hard to get the club though the ball. Staff was great and people I played were too but tees were patchy but I wasn't expecting much and wasn't disappointed.

Embarrassingly bad.
I don’t understand how a course in such a beautiful setting can be so poorly maintained. It’s really quite sad.

Course in terrible condition!! This winter they showed improvements.

Good course
Course was in rougher shape than normal but a lot of courses are during the florida summer. Still a good value
Maintenance poor
Worst course in Marion County. We will not be playing there again.

Slipping Again
The course was almost empty by 11am, probably due to the heat and humidity. The lack of any breeze to cool you off didn't help either. The greens weren't bad but the tee boxes and fairways resembled cow pastures. So many weeds, bare spots and long grass it was something just to find your ball. Until conditions impove I will play elsewhere.

Poorly maintained
Greens ok except 1 which was un playable.
Fairways were terrible.
Sand trap poorly maintained and had weeds growing in them.
Will not return.

The Preserves
Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways were good, sun was HOT! We started at 1 PM and finished somewhere after 3 - we only played 9 holes, but even our beginner who played with us had a great time. Staff were great - in the pro shop and in Olivers! Overall a good time and will be fun for you if you go!
Okay Course But Don’t Pay Over $20 a Person
The course is not in perfect shape, there are rough spots, however around 12/18 greens roll nicely and are in good shape. Probably 10/18 tee boxes are nice. Don’t go off the fairway though because you’ll be stuff in high rough or in crabgrass. The course itself is not very difficult, pretty straight forward holes with two holes having water. The back tees (green) play from 6500 with almost every par 4 being around 360, so the course is not very long. They have a small putting green and driving range and a restaurant. Overall not a horrible place to play a round, but in the Ocala area they are better places to play.
