Excellent Condition
The condition of the golf course, especially the greens, was great and better than that of the other courses I've recently played in the Melbourne area. And the pace of play was also excellent making the outing an outstanding value.
Nice course, very enjoyable round
Played for the first time. Course in very good condition and the greens were excellent. A fun afternoon!
Not to bad for a beach area course
First time playing here all staff great people and very friendly and helpful . As for course flat and kind of boring layout .Greens are in great shape fairways and rough could use some help but definitely playable .Still would play again just would not pay over 50$ for it .
Nice condition greens
Rest of course is in only fair condition. Fairways need water and weed removal. Tee boxes are beat up and sparse. Bunkers were well maintained. River 9 is worth playing. Tiny range, had to wait to hit.
Friendly and welcoming staff and great greens
My first visit to this course and was deeply impressed by the “little things” provides by the staff. Was provided a course layout booklet to better understand the course. Starter was a hoot who also provided some great local advice. The course greens were challenging and required some finesse. The offerings in the clubhouse were slim, but that is the only item that could use improvement on this course.
Awesome course
Couldn’t have asked for a nicer course I will play it as often as I can and invite my friends from Orlando area to join me
A good test for mid to high handicappers!
Pro shop and starters were efficient and courteous. Tee off was right on time and we only had to wait on one par 3 hole so pace was excellent for our two couples. Fairways were in good shape and so were the greens albeit a tad slow but ran true. Bunkers are not true sand but filled with small gravelly substance. We liked the course challenge from the white and ladies red tees,
Cocoa Beach Golf Club
I would highly recommend this course for the average to above average player. It is laid out well and the water holes are challenging. Much if the water is along side the fairways and creates a lovely view.
True greens
This course has 3, 9 hole tracks. It has enough trouble to keep you honest, but wide enough to bomb the driver. The greens are certainly top 3 in Brevard county. They rolled true and held every iron. The staff is great from the proshop to the starter. They had on course beverage cart which seems to be a rarity in Brevard. The 19th hope is top notch. Only downside is it is typically overpriced with the snowbirds down here. But if you can catch a hot deal for less than $30, grab it.
Okay
Conditions were just okay, although the greens rolled nicely. The course is flat and the most interesting part was the location and the dolphins in the Banana River. Played long for women, especially with no roll due to damp conditions.
REALLY wet
this course is normally very good ... Friday we played...
No warm up because the practice range was a swamp due to rain... Cart path only on the entire course due to - yep the rain... We would have preferred to play another time when it dried out but Golf now policy is - no refund to bad. I would ask Golf now to look into there system to see if they can update local weather conditions for courses and NOT allow customers to play courses which are this wet.... Some change is needed.
Nice greens.
Rough around the edges. Heavy usage on the 3 nines. Carts are old with no amenities. Starter is a grouch.
Great day
Played on 12-20 with my sons, excellent pace of play best condition of other courses we played this week. Greens soft and medium to slow but rolled fine. Nice layout we enjoyed the course.
