Windy, but Fun
My wife and I chose this course due to some previous reviews but also the location. ProShop greeting was okay, but informative. Starter very friendly and informative. Offered to get us off earlier if possible, and he did. Paired up with a single and played behind a local fivesome that moved well. We finished in 3:45, “ready golf” never saw t he group behind us River course played tougher in the wind, Dolphin more forgiving. Course was in good shape. Greens in great shape.
Could be Working
The course is OK. The greens are fine, but the fairways are beaten up.
The fairways need to be fertilized and watered.
Pace of play is slow.
Layout is good, with 27 holes for which to play.
Saw Dolphins and Manatees in the Indian River.
Saw a huge, male alligator sunning himself. Had to be 12’ long.
Below average
On the plus side the greens were in good shape and the weather was perfect. On the negative side the fairways were in poor shape with little grass and mostly sand. It was very crowded and that backed things up all day. I think it is overpriced.
Perfect Greens, scenic views Banna River
Loved the greens: Fully covered, fast and smooth. Fairways in good shape. Traps and tee boxes in fair shape. Great sunken bar in the clubhouse with great drink prices. Will be back. Shot a 83. Only negitive was they let out a fivesome in front of our threesome, and a single behind us.

It had rained yesterday so today was cart path only. The course is challenging and the scenery is outstanding.
Will definitely be back!
Very scenic. Pace was normal for 4 golfers. Starter kept folks on time! Saw two huge gators - biggest thus far I've seen in FL!

Fairways and tees, brown. Greens were very nice, held your approach shots and putted very well.
