Always Fun!
Cocoa Beach CC is always fun and challenging- especially on a windy day!
Course gets a lot of play
Hard to find grass under the ball. Greens are slow and traps are more sea shells and stones than sand. Not a good choice.
Always Fun!
Solid course with enough open space to play aggressively
go lost
The three 9 hole courses over lap and the route to the next hole are not that good and it gets confusing. We started out on the Dolphin and some how ended up on the Lakes course after the 6th hole. The path marking need to be improved and get rid of the yellow on white path signs as they are faded and hard to read,
Not in great shape
The fairways had little live grass and what was there was very sparse. Most of tees were really bare with mostly just sand. I have to believe there are options for courses and those should be explored.
Need course marshals to help pace of play. Back nine took 2.5 hours due to foursome that was three holes behind and had seven groups backed up and would not let anyone play thru
Good Conditions
Greens were pretty nice, if a bit slower than other places I have played recently.
It was a nice day in good weather.
Just Okay
Did 9 holes with my son on, what they call, the River. (The course seems to be broken into four 9-hole sections, each given a name.) The views were beautiful, as the course hugged the Banana River. Things were a bit unorganized. The Ranger handing out the carts didn’t know where to direct us to go. And, the starter was trying to chase down the foursome in front is us. Speaking of which, the pace of play was slow, as we waited 10-15 at each hole due to the group in front of us, but maybe that’s normal when you’re a two-some behind a foursome. The greens were in decent shape, but the tee boxes and fairways were pretty dry and sandy.
Beautiful course
This course sits along the bans river providing panoramic views. They redid the greens a few years ago and they are in excellent condition. The fairways could use some work. It’s a great value for the money though and a really fun course to play. There are 3 9’s. Staff is super friendly.
Slow pace of play
Stuck behind groups of people. 3 hours to play the first nine.
