On holiday from the home of golf
We play this course regularly when we visit the area. This is the best condition we have seen it in.
Rude staff
I played this course with a golf now t-time. My tee time was for 11:30 but since it was threatening rain I went early. the course was basically empty. The female pro "Holly" refused to let me out because she said the course does not receive any money from golf now?? She seemed delighted in making me wait until my designated t-time even though no one was playing. She obviously does not like to accommodate golf now people. A little customer relations training would go a long way!!
Excellent greens
The greens for all three courses were in excellent condition. We were able to replay the third nine hole course for only six dollars. Will definitely play again. Was able to sneak in 27 in time it takes to play 18 on most courses.
immaculate greens
The greens are always pristine at CBCC. Not always the fastest but always true. Scenery is spectacular; especially on River course. Tees are a little thin regarding grsss growth but fairways were reasonable. Overall, great value for money and most enjoyable day.
Fun Times
The course was in great condition! Edie the cart server was very fun and accomadating!
The only negative was that there was no hot food in the lounge.
ProShop "personnel" were very cool!
Will define try be back for the great views and play!
Scenic
Played the River and Dolphin and we were along the river many of the holes which made for a great backdrop. Course was in great shape.

Recommend this corse for great views but the whites were moved so far forward we were almost playing from the reds.
Bien situé..
Personnel vraiment gentil, et les greens excellents..
les allées assez bien..
TRÈS satisfait de ce terrain de Golf.
MERCI

The Wind is a factor on the course because the Indian River and the Ocean are very lose. Nice course, driving Range poor on gras , green very nice , bunker not nice sand close from beach?
Average course
The greens were fantastic! As far as the rest of the course....very crowded, fairways are very close together (bring your helmet), staff was so so, made you feel like just another t time. Just an ok course..
Didn't feel like they wanted us there.
Arrived an hour early to hit some balls on the range. The lady in Pro shop would not let me pay for our round and did not say whenshe would except payment. Range balls were a dollar for 8-10 balls. The starter asked for our cart number but no one showed us where the carts were. After getting our cart we had to ask another golfer where the Lakes Course was. Play was slow. Fairways were OK. Greens were very nice but slower than anything I play on regular basis. Sorry about being negative, but not impressed. I played the Savannahs two days later and found it to be a better deal with excellent customer service. Course was in better shape and more interesting to play. Greens very nice and faster than the CBCC. Played twilight at 3pm for $20. Hard to beat. GO PLAY SAVANNAHS on Merritt Island.
Beautiful course in great condition!
The course is beautifully laid out and in great condition!
Greens are tricky which adds to the fun. The course is challenging for every level of player but still very playable.
I always look forward to playing CBCC!
Pairing Process
We felt that not much thought was given to the pairing of players. The gentlemen we played with were different style players than us and possibly using the handicaps for pairings would eliminate this problem. Thanks
Lots of wildlife and challenging
Great layout for a city owned course...would play it again in a heartbeat...lots of bunkers and water on River and Dolphin...$1.00 for a small bucket of balls to warm up!!!
Nice 27 hole facility.
Good place to play a few time on the Space Coast. Comfortable drive from Melbourne.
Great scenery, decent layout, BAD scheduling.
This was my second time out. This time I played River/Dolphin last time was Dolphin/Lake. I asked to specifically avoid Lake because last time I found it to be in poor condition and pretty boring. The River/Dolphin combo is better for sure. The views of the Banana River and all the wildlife are wonderful. It does tend to get windy there, so be prepared for that. The greens were in very good condition, but the tee boxes and many parts of the fairways leave a lot to be desired. All in all, a fun round though. The main issue we had was the very poor scheduling. They were pushing people out left and right with no ranger to keep things moving. We teed off at 1:00 and had to quit after the 17th hole because there was no sun left at almost 6:00. It was 5 hours of wait, wait, wait. And on a Thursday afternoon...
Interesting course
The fairways were not in very good shape. The 4 of us thought it was just a so so course. I will say the greens were not bad. Play was very slow. Not sure where the problem was. They did not have a ranger. It took almost 5 hours to play with us waiting on every hole. On the par 3's we had 3 groups waiting.
Disappointed
Tees and greens fair but rest of course poor. Pace of play was horrendous.
This was a very nice course
We had a major problem. The wind was gusting to 30 mph. We were not sure if we could ask for a "rain" check in these circumstances. We had to leave the course after 14 holes. Would have not started if we could get a "wind" check.
Nice course, but windy
This is a beautiful location for the course and it was in decent condition, but it was quite windy the day we were there. I do not know how consistently the wind blows here (it may have been windy everywhere), but it was an issue the day we were there...
The greens are fast and well kept (made it challenging in a good way).
We had a Golfnow reservation and it was fairly crowded, but they called us early and tee off was very smooth. They did not pair us up with a twosome in front of us...this was nice because we didn't have to assimilate to two strangers games, but it was a detriment when we ended up waiting for the twosome on a couple of holes...I think I preferred running as a separate twosome (benefits outweighed cost).
Overall a very enjoyable round!
