About
Scotland Yards Golf Club, as its name implies, has a traditional links-style layout that is reminiscent of the traditional links courses of England and Scotland. It offers the experience of classic Scottish golf with the convenient of being only 20 miles north of Tampa. The golf course tumbles across the gently rolling hills of west central Florida. The course plays long and it features wildly undulating greens that require tremendous accuracy. True to its links nature, there is little water but there are plenty of pot bunkers treacherously lurking throughout. The signature hole is the par-5 second. At 554 yards, it is the longest hole on the course and it is only rarely reached in two. The demanding third shot is uphill to a green that is fiercely guarded in front by two massive mounds and pot bunkers.

Great shape
The courses in fantastic shape The pace of play was three and a half hours which is excellent for this time of year. And the prices are very reasonable
enjoyable golf
everything was A okay except some of the fairways were quite bare difficult to find a decent lie.
Pace of Play
Pace was slow after the 6th hole and on the back 9 there was a group of 5 in 3 carts playing in front of us. Slowed down a lot and was not fun waiting on a Saturday afternoon. Never saw a marshal at all.
Worth it for cheap
It's much improved over when I played here about 4 years ago, when it was an absolute dump of a course. I swore I would never come back, but another golfer convinced me. Greens are solid ( no bare spots) but VERY slow. Tees and fairways seem ok for the season. Fairly straight forward layout, nothing exciting. I only paid $22 on a hot deal, so I can't complain. It has value for $35 or less. Staff is friendly and the restaurant/bar has always been very good.
Workers are friendly and pleasant. Greens were all in pretty good shape just a little slow. And the fairways are very green and we’ll defined. Rough is very playable and there are a fix of wide open holes and holes that require a more accurate shot of the tee. Fun course
