Scotland Yards Golf Club
About
Scotland Yards Golf Club, as its name implies, has a traditional links-style layout that is reminiscent of the traditional links courses of England and Scotland. It offers the experience of classic Scottish golf with the convenient of being only 20 miles north of Tampa. The golf course tumbles across the gently rolling hills of west central Florida. The course plays long and it features wildly undulating greens that require tremendous accuracy. True to its links nature, there is little water but there are plenty of pot bunkers treacherously lurking throughout. The signature hole is the par-5 second. At 554 yards, it is the longest hole on the course and it is only rarely reached in two. The demanding third shot is uphill to a green that is fiercely guarded in front by two massive mounds and pot bunkers.

Nice course
This course is in nice shape the greens are a little slow but overall. Very good fairways are in good shape along with the tee boxes fun to play . Just a foot note (not a complaint) they won't check you in until 15 min before your tee time .
Nice course
This course is kept in very nice condition, the greens are very well maintained and the fairways are over seeded nice and green tee boxes are in good shape just a nice course to play
Bad pace but fun course
Course is in great condition considering the time of year. Due to price constantly get stuck behind slow groups but otherwise would recommend.
Better every time I play!
Payed 3 times this year. Fair, Good, and Better! The staff and management are putting a lot of time and money into the course. Can't wait to see what they improve on next. Keep doing what you are doing 👍
Pleasantly surprised.
I only played the front nine and it was in very good shape. Fairways were fairly lush and the greens were just a one. I plan on playing there again soon.
Golf day
Pace of play great. Greens were in good condition.
Surprised
I hadn't played at Scotland Yard for about 3 or 4 months and I was quite surprised at how good the courses conditioned. The fairways and tea boxes were quite well groomed and lush. The greens were excellent also but tended to be a bit slower than most courses. I plan on playing there again.
Scotland Yards
Always enjoy this course. Generous fairways and the greens have always been in good shape. There were two of us and the groups ahead were foursomes so we understood the pace of play would be a little slower. Also this time of year with winter visitors the course is very busy.
Great value for $25
I gave it 4 stars based on the conditions versus what I paid for the round. It’s a GREAT course for $25-$30. Overall good shape with good greens and bunkers. Its a fun play and good enough layout. It’s a little hectic from hole to hole with some crossovers from green to the next tee you are passing hitting areas for other holes. They could use more signage. No range. There was also a 5-some of ladies in front of us, that we caught on the 6th hole. As a 2 some, I expect to be let through every time. I know it’s a community, and I’m sure these ladies live there, and it’s their home course. I get it. Just let the 2somes and faster groups through. Everyone is happy. They only played 9 so we breezed through the back since there was nobody in front of them. I wouldn’t go back because it’s over an hour away, but if your close it’s cheap and in good shape.
