About
Scotland Yards Golf Club, as its name implies, has a traditional links-style layout that is reminiscent of the traditional links courses of England and Scotland. It offers the experience of classic Scottish golf with the convenient of being only 20 miles north of Tampa. The golf course tumbles across the gently rolling hills of west central Florida. The course plays long and it features wildly undulating greens that require tremendous accuracy. True to its links nature, there is little water but there are plenty of pot bunkers treacherously lurking throughout. The signature hole is the par-5 second. At 554 yards, it is the longest hole on the course and it is only rarely reached in two. The demanding third shot is uphill to a green that is fiercely guarded in front by two massive mounds and pot bunkers.

Loved it , great conditions. Plenty of room to play. Great Bartender service! Will come back!!
Good course
So I have played about 30 courses over 15yrs while down in Fl and this course reminds me of a course they would have built in the 1800s. Now thats not to say it's bad but it has that old feel to it. The layout is nice. Fairways tight. Greens are small. They were plugged when I played but I can see them rolling nicely once back to normal. Not a course I'd play wkly but it's a good option when you want to play close to home. 9 handicap

Excellent course in pretty decent condition. Got a great deal through golf now so it was great for the value. Thick rough but nicely designed and a fun course. Very wide open similar to a links course, with rolling/ sloping greens. Will definitely play again.
Perfect course for beginners or higher handicappers
This course has beautiful views of the rare Florida hills and allows players to focus on long shots from open fairways. not too many hazards and is almost impossible to hit your ball out of play. Course conditions were nice when we played, and the staff was very friendly.

Nice course, pace of play a little slow.
They do have a beverage cart on the course.
