Course has a nice layout and was enjoyable to play but the course itself is in bad condition. Greens in particular are not well kept.

Greens are in bad shape. Overall course condition needs improvement.

Fairways nice the greens could use some they rolled smooth but had weeds in spots

You better be good because this course has a lot of water. The greens are undulating and I can’t remember one being easy. It’s a challenging course but fun to play if you like a challenge.

All the greens are in a very bad conditions, weed everywhere, you can't putt in a strait line

I will never return to this golf course

Played this course before Covid it was a fair course played last week the greens were terrible not cut and rough. Couldn’t tell were the fairways ended and greens started. Don’t recommend till they repair greens.

Course in good shape and hit your putts at 100 percent.

Most of the fairways are like carpet, wish the greens were It burns my brain to see all these drag marks on the greens from these lazy mother-phuckers that don't know how to lift their feet, And probably the same ones don't fix their ballmarks. Why bother shutting a green down for a month to repair it? If your greenscapers are going to mow them down to the dirt along the edges afterward, absolutely mind-blowing. You're bad tenders acting as starters need a little training, sending 3 singles out one at a time after a threesome is ridiculous. We three believe it would not hurt if you hung signs in every cart, asking golfers to sand their fairway devits and fix their ballmarks on the greens

There were about 5-6 temporary greens, some of the ones that were open were not in good shape. No driving range, chipping green was as bad as the other greens on the course.

Will never be back

I’ve played this course many times over the last 5 years or so. My go to courses are Davie, Woodmont Countr Club, Colony West Champ. All 3 of these courses have one thing in common the slope is in the 130s. If your not familiar with slope it’s the difficulty of the course. You’ll notice a course in the 120s or less is fairly easy. To play decent golf at Davie you have to play smart and choose your clubs wisely. Some fairways are narrow and if you are not accurate you will surely lose balls. My hope someday is to shoot consistent in the 80s at Davie and the other 3 courses. For an ameteur golfer this is above average and if done at Davie you have something to be proud of cuz I hardly ever play with anybody who is consistently shooting in the 80s on this cours. For the money and quality from staff to the carts and equipment it’s a great place to learn be a better golfer. If you, Davie old is reading this thank you and keep up the good work!

I’ll get to the course, but I want to start with how impressed I am with the customer service. Arthur is one of the starters and he is a genuinely kind, friendly, welcoming guy who was very accommodating. It was a slow day, but he remembered us when we came in after our round and took great care of us. You really don’t see many above-and-beyond starters like Arthur these days. I hope the managers know what a great employee they have in him.

The course is in decent shape. I’ve been here a few times over the years. I’ve seen it in good shape and seen it in terrible shape. Right now it’s on the mend and a great deal for the price, probably one of the best in the area. And it’s not too busy either. They still have a temp green on 10 and some of the greens are patchy; definitely not pristine but still playable. Fairways and tee-boxes were decent too, they had just mowed the last I played. I’d describe the layout and fun and challenging. The first time you play it, you’re likely to lose a lot of balls if your accuracy is lacking. But play it a few times and you’ll learn how to play the holes, it’s a good time. Overall, the course has been in better shape - it has potential to be good again and they’re clearly working on getting back it. It’s a great deal for the price, especially the twilight rate. I would recommend checking it out. Say hi to Arthur!

Off fairway grass was extremely high , couldn’t find our golf balls if inches off fairway , and found multiple balls that previous golfers couldn’t find .

The fairways had so many huge clumps

of cut grass , that balls couldn’t be found even if in fairway .

Staff was very friendly and would play again if cut and clear grass

As a golfer with only five months of experience this is a challenging course. It has numerous water hazards, but it is quite enjoyable and helps me improve every time I play it. The cart staff are wonderful.
