Course was in surprisingly good shape after being abused by all the snowbirds

In my opinion, I would rather see six different kinds of weeds on the greens, which there were on most of the greens instead of bare spots, to memory there may have been two greens with a couple of small bare spots but you can see the plugs where they were trying to repair them.

Tee boxes were a mix of grass which doesn't really matter because you're tee-ing your ball up.

My memory is not what it used to be but I believe there is more turf grass then weeds or st. Augustine on the fairways which are sloooowly improving.

Course is in rough shape, wish they put more money into the greens. Challenging layout and not a bad deal for the cost.

Greens were in decent shape. Some had blotchy areas. Fairways were OK. Numerous clumps of grass on several fairways. Also bare spots. Course is challenging. It is a beautiful course with loads of native birds.

We played 3:30pm tee off on a party of 2. Greens need some TLC. I missed a few 5ft puts due to weeds making the ball bounce around the greens constantly.

Staff was friendly for the most part, until the last few holes when Mr. “ ambassador of fun” came around with an attitude. I’ve never had someone at any other course demand that we wrap up our game because it’s gets dark in 15min. We teed off hole 16 around 6:45pm (sun sets around 7:40pm). We ended up finishing our game at 7:30 with more then enough sunlight.

Love the staff and the course layout. The greens are in desperate need if attention. There is too much crab grass and various other grasses growing in the greens. They need some serious attention

I play this course frequently. It is always a challenge and a lot of fun. The greens are not in great condition right now but they are playable.

Fairways are the best part of this course and I’d give them a Whooping ONE star.

The course is fairly nice with lots of hazards… but the condition of the greens is a bad as it can get. Not worth the rate they charge.

I was very disappointed with the conditions of this course.. The Greens were essentially knot-grass, fairways were very hard, offering no forgiveness for iron shots. For a course to be designed so beautifully, it is disappointing to find it in such horrible condition, and to add to the disappointment, the rates were not commensurate to the poor quality of the course.

Tee boxes and greens need work. Lots of patches that slowed and rerouted ball on putts. Fairways were decent.

Every time I think this course is turned around it gets worse!

They just don't get it, the greens are in such bad condition you think your in a cow pasture. The fairways need lots of TLC and the overall feeling is the Town of Davie just just sell the land and pet some builder make some real money. Everytime u asked they claim they are working in improving the course, now its been 3 years later and its still a garbage dump!

Always enjoy playing at this course, but greens need some work. Condition of greens and tee boxes are average at best, which does not make for a positive pleasurable round. Crabgrass out of control on and around greens, must be addressed by maintenance crew ASAP with the summer months coming. Thanks,
