Great course
You will enjoy playing Golf at Davie Golf & Country Club.
It's challenging and yet, very enjoyable.
Not worth the money
Very small greens poorly maintained. Staff is very nice, trying to overcome the shortcomings of the course.
Staff members went out of their way to deal with a GOLF NOW PROBLEM THAT GOLF NOW DID NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT

Course was in surprisingly good shape after being abused by all the snowbirds
Seems to be improving
In my opinion, I would rather see six different kinds of weeds on the greens, which there were on most of the greens instead of bare spots, to memory there may have been two greens with a couple of small bare spots but you can see the plugs where they were trying to repair them.
Tee boxes were a mix of grass which doesn't really matter because you're tee-ing your ball up.
My memory is not what it used to be but I believe there is more turf grass then weeds or st. Augustine on the fairways which are sloooowly improving.
Course is in rough shape, wish they put more money into the greens. Challenging layout and not a bad deal for the cost.
Davie
Greens were in decent shape. Some had blotchy areas. Fairways were OK. Numerous clumps of grass on several fairways. Also bare spots. Course is challenging. It is a beautiful course with loads of native birds.
Way better courses around Broward
We played 3:30pm tee off on a party of 2. Greens need some TLC. I missed a few 5ft puts due to weeds making the ball bounce around the greens constantly.
Staff was friendly for the most part, until the last few holes when Mr. “ ambassador of fun” came around with an attitude. I’ve never had someone at any other course demand that we wrap up our game because it’s gets dark in 15min. We teed off hole 16 around 6:45pm (sun sets around 7:40pm). We ended up finishing our game at 7:30 with more then enough sunlight.
