Fun day at Oak Trail. Photo submitted by KingGeo3 on 12/28/2012
Great 9 hole course
Greens, fairways and boxes great. Actual sand in the bunkers! Great little 9 hole to get golf in, but still have time for other activities.
Nice, but rainy.
Due to no fault of the golf course, the unexpected rainy weather really spoiled the experience. The course was very nice and it wasn’t too difficult nor too easy to play. The staff that I interacted with were all very nice and friendly. I’d love to go back again and give it another chance, with better weather.
Disney Oak Trail
Every time I travel to Florida I play golf at Disney’s Oak Trail. Everyone is so nice and professional and friendly. The players you get paired with are also very friendly.
Finally applied credits!
The course was fine, although a little sloggy still on the 4th and 5th fairways. The 5th runs along a creek, with significant drainage drop, but one spot seems lately to hold the water. But it was fun, as usual, and the staff were wonderful, as usual.
The main reason for this review is to say how relieved I am to have been able to use my credits from GolfNow! We tried several times, but there are certain tee times that aren’t eligible. Finally we found one that was!
Beautiful
This little course is a must play if you don't mind walking and are looking for a very challenging 9 holes of golf. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The subtle breaks on the greens combined with their speed make for some tough but fair putting. The narrowness of the fairways mean even the shorter par 4's are very challenging.
Nice Course
Loved the layout. Challenging holes from 5 to 7! Definitely I will return!
A little wet
Grounds were somewhat wet, but only to be expected after downpour
Peaceful Walking Course
It was our first time ever trying a walking course, we are traditionally used to cart paths and moving a bit quicker. This course made us appreciate the pace of a walking game and it was very relaxing while maintaining a good pace of play. We never felt rushed while playing which is not normally the case with cart path play. The course was very well maintained and had great views while playing!
Good track to practice accuracy.
Met up with a friend for a quick nine here. I'd played here before once, and held a lot of the same sentiments. Holes 5-7 are the shining stars here, folks. The rest are very standard straightaways, though narrowly lined by oak trees placing a premium on accuracy. My only real complaint about course conditions was that the bunkers feel as if they are filled with dirt as opposed to sand. Having played all the other WDW courses earlier this month, this one obviously will be below the others, but still a good one to snag on a deal.
Fun little course
I took my wife and kids during a visit to Orlando. My kids were able to drive the greens from the front tees. I hit from the back tees and found it a fun, challenging course. The staff were very friendly and course is in great shape.
