Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club - Red Course

course in great shape just super slow. They gave me some drink coupons to help make up for it but i don't drink although I do appreciate the effort.

The Starter and Ranger were extremely rude and unhelpful during our round. While on the 18th green, our group could overhear multiple comments belittling and making fun of a mutilltude golfers, particularly of the ederly female variety. I do not recommend nor will I be returning.

Generally good but there was a fivesome out on the course that slowed play down. They must have been a little after noon younger guys. If that’s what the club allows then probably won’t return.

Fun layout and one of the few courses in the area that you can get out on the weekend.

Pace of play was ridiculously slow and staff seemed not to care

I want to be fair with this review so understand that as a residential course this place is okay. However it’s marketed as “just golf” and they talk about how the approaches are trees instead of living rooms. Every hole is surrounded by houses. If you understand that you won’t get what they tell you then it’s a fine course, but don’t book a tee time thinking it’s all scenery and secluded. Pace of play is about three groups per hole, one at the tee, one on the fairway, and one on the green.

Extremely poor. Waited every single hole to tee off. Took close it 5 hours to play. We heard a group a few holes ahead had kids and they were hitting multiple shots per hole. And we know the ranger knew. We talked to him. They should have monitored more often and either moved that group along or asked them to leave. Held up all the groups just not to anger one? Not a receipt for repeat business. And we play all over the area. By far the worst we ever ran into

Everything was wonderful!

The only problem was hole 9.

As a women, it's impossible for me to hit the ball over that huge gully next to the bridge. Instead of loosing my ball, I just drop it on the other side.
