Redland Golf & Country Club
About
Redland Golf & Country Club hosts numerous events each year, including the Homestead Amateur Golf Classic. The course has been a popular event venue since opening in 1947. The versatile layout is perfect for tournaments since it combines challenging holes with player-friendly features. The diverse sets of tees also add to the course's versatility. The back tees are a formidable test for seasoned golfers. Long, straight shots will be rewarded though if your shots are slightly errant, the golf course is still quite forgiving. The greens are small but they provide enough room to hit. It is tough at times and depending on the wind, it can be even more challenging. In addition to the golf course, Redland claims to have the best driving rang in south Florida.

Getting better
This course has improved a lot in recent years. Greens are much better, tees too. Staff are friendly, still with a nice laid back vibe. Some of the tree are narrow and have a ridge/hump down the middle which makes it hard to find a level tee shot.
Good bang for buck
As far as Miami-Dade courses in this price range go, this is a very good course. Better greens and better kept in general compared to Palmetto, Killian and Miccosukee. Very friendly staff. Laid back vibe. Not much water or rough. Enjoyable place to play
Great course but the staff makes it better
Such a great group of ladies running the course with such a great atmosphere!! Will play again
Excellent conditions, very well kept course, congratulations and keep it up.
Slow play
I play this course several times in March and April, and find it very playable. Except for last Friday! Play was so slow that I walked off the course after 11 holes. At one point there was a foursome, a single, and two twosome all playing one par four with an open hole ahead of the foursome. There is no attempt to monitor or speed up slow play.
