Killian Greens Golf Club
About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Shouldn't you inform us the greens would be aerated?
Dropping over $400 on a foursome on the course. Killian is nice but not for that price. However, the greens were being aerated and putting was impossible. Sand, some weeds, and the holes were ridiculous. Shouldn't courses be obligated to inform the public their greens are being aerated???
Killian Greens: It’s Good Enough (barely)
Pros: It’s reasonably priced, and the greens were in great shape (but super slow as always). The layout is not bad, and you have a chance for a decent score even if you aren’t a big hitter.
Cons: Turf conditions anywhere off the greens. The fairways are incredibly hard, like hitting off concrete, even after a recent rain. Fairways, approaches and fringe are full of weed patches and dead areas. The course is set up with no fairways adjacent to each other, so if you pull or slice you’re either hitting a house or out in the street.
Clientele: Generally not bad, just don’t get stuck behind the weekday octogenarians or a foursome of Miami bro-chachos.
Overall: If you’re close by, it’s decent bang for the buck. Not worth a longer drive.
Fun Friday Afternoon
Greens felt like fake grass. Nicest I have seen. There were some kids on par 3 #8, riding his bike on the green and on the green-side bunker. Security did come and chase them off.
Terrible changes
I don’t know what has happened to Killian but my last visit was disappointing. I arrived 30 minutes before my tee time, this has always been as per golf courses the correct and courteous time to arrive. When I went to check in, and mind you, this was on a week day when business is slow, I was told that I could not have my tee time until 15 minutes before. I have played at this course for years and that has never happened, this is new. Also I was made to wait until others arrived with the same tee time before I could play. That caused for 3 groups of 3 players to follow each other rather than staggering players so play would be quicker. Again, this is a weekday, the course was empty in front of the first group and behind the last, ridiculous. Normally I have played on days like this in 3 1/2 hours, it took 5 hours to play. Besides this, after inconveniencing the players we noticed multiple employees at practically every hole monitoring the players, what a waste of money. It felt as if everyone was going out of their way to make you uncomfortable. Lastly to add injury to insult I was subjected to a search of my bag, what is that, like if we were criminals, again mind you, I am a senior citizen, I do not look suspicious in any way. Speaking of which, they should instead of harassing the players that are paying their salaries be policing their employees who are out and about hiding behind trees smoking marijuana. I encourage everyone to write about your experience if similar to this, management needs to be made aware of how dissatisfied people are about these ridiculous and unnecessary rules that are going to destroy course attendance. I for one will think very hard about reserving again in the future.
Solid.
Greens were cut very nicely. No complaints at this time. The team is working hard to take care of the place. Good job.
Terrible All Around
Terrible course. Not worth the money and the staff specifically the old starter with glasses is a miserable person that irritates players off the first tee. Guy needs to be fired.
Don't waste your time or money.
Pro shop. More like an old gas station cash register office. No driving range. There's a 100 yard practice area but you have to use and shag your own balls. Pathetic. The course was in decent shape but very narrow, short and seemed to be squeezed in between working class back yards.
