Killian Greens Golf Club

About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Not worth your time!
Absolutely terrible track.
Teeboxes are like hitting off a beach!
Fairways are actual cement!
Greens are dead.
Charging $75 for a Saturday morning tee time and should be worth $40. Just not a good idea to play here. It’s absolutely terrible. Book a 7am tee time you won’t hit your first ball till 8:30am
Killing the wallet
Tee boxes need help and greens are in decent shape. Fairways are in decent shape. Wouldn't pay no more than $45 for this track. It's a real shame, cause it really is a great layout. Back 9 is in better shape than the front.
Good Community Course
Good Community Golf Course with great deals on Mondays and Wednesday.
Fairways were in good condition but tee boxes and greens were average. Pace was a little slow. Got to the 1st on time but had to wait 10 minutes to start because of the group in front of us. Would play Killian again if home course is closed.
Marginal place with even worse management
On a short visit to Miami, we played Killian Greens. As we had traveled from Europe and didn't have any equipment with us, we rented our equipment. On arrival, we were amazed at the poor infrastructure: no signalization, a barrack-like reception building. The rental equipment and the carts were hardly in any condition: The carts were old, dirty and poorly maintained. The rental equipment, however, exceeded all expectations - in the worst possible way: We were given two men's bags (women's rental equipment not available - later we knew why), which were torn and rusty. The rackets were all material that was lost and found by the staff: Dirty - rusty - broken grips - a incomplete hodgepodge of various clubs with both iron and graphite shafts. The staff didn't even take the trouble to put together a reasonably homogeneous set or to remove old address labels.
After the round, I wanted to describe our experience to the duty manager in charge. He could only be contacted by the receptionist via text message and was not prepared to communicate in person. Even afterwards, no communication could be established by email (apart from a brief statement that we should have contacted the groundskeeper before the round).
Take note of the pictures of the rental material. It's amazing that such miserable courses with even more miserable management survive in the golf country USA with a course density like in FL.
Don't do this to yourselves!
Good Value for Hot Tee
Course plays nice, very narrow. Fairways and greens were in OK shape. My golf cart was exceptionally slow. No food on site or restaurant was closed for the day.
Great
Memories, thanks God is back in shape, don’t ever sell the land
Pleasantly surprised!
We read a few , shall we say not great reviews on this course so we were somewhat sceptical to say the least.
However, we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The course was a good test, in good condition and pace of play ok.
The club house is nothing to write home about, but it’s a busy place with very friendly, hardworking staff and the bbq food was excellent. Overall excellent value for money.
Extremely unorganized to book
The person at the Golf Shop at Killian informed me that they no longer accept Golf Pass reservations and quoted me a price 20 dollars higher than Golf Pass online. I will no longer book Killian Golf course through GolfPass, because I do not have any trust in making the reservation. Also, you all sent me an email stating that Killian informed that I never showed up for my tee time and that you all will charge me either way. Well I showed up and if you all try to charge me twice I will be very upset with your customer service.
