You really need to keep updated on closures, even if I get a refund which I will, I drove 30 minutes one way to the course to have it be closed. Just very inconsiderate of your customers.

I enjoy playing this course, because there are many challenging holes with hole 2 as my #1 target. This is a great hole from the back tees and I look forward to the challenge.

Love the course. Second time playing it. Tee boxes need some work, but fairways are good and staff is friendly and helpful.

There are a lot of sand traps and plenty of water to cause problems for average golfers. There are no 100yard markers but there are 150yard markers. There are a number of holes that no distance is given and left up to the golfer to decide to use a driver off the Tee or a lesser club (Dog Legs or water hazards that come into play). If this is your first time playing Timacuan, be sure to bring extra balls with you. There are a number of holes where the fairways slope down to the water

again, catching the firsttime player somewhat by surprise. It is definitely a challenging course. The greens are in pretty good shape and seem to be consistently fast.

Timacuan has received poor reviews recently regarding course conditions, mostly justified. However, not this time! The greens were pure, relatively fast and very good overall. Sure there are still some that have some small patches but the superintendent has done really well. The layout is still one of the most unique and challenging which is always a plus for this course.

I have been staying away due to all of the bad reviews over the last year. Well, they are definitely putting in the effort to improve the conditions. Most of the greens were pretty good and the ball rolled nicely. Of course there were a few with burned out patches. That was only an issue on about 3-4 greens. The fairways are much better but they do still have some work to do. The Tee boxes were not in good shape. There were some rough, uneven boxes that really need some TLC. Overall, if you just want to get a round in and stay close to home, you really could do worse.

Prices should be a little lower due to heat. Love golf and would battle heat if price was lower especially during this heat this year. Tons hotter than last year.

The course was a pleasure to play, the greens were excellent and the over all course was in good shape. It was a big change from just 18 months ago. I told my friends I would never return that was 18 months ago now I am looking forward to returning. If you get a chance play it you will not be disappointed.

My friends and I booked an early tee time to miss the hot summer Florida weather. The course was in perfect condition that day. My friend even scored his first ever birdie which was awesome. Pace of play was great. We did get some chirps from the group behind us because we were waiting on the tee box for the group ahead of us, just like everyone else. We pulled through though and made sure to not let that ruin our day. Fun course for a decent price!

Better than a couple of months ago but still not up to previous standards

Loved my round great design interesting tight fairways , greens were fast and rolled true ! Could use some tlc but would play this anytime I get. Chance Staff were great !
