About
Big Cypress Golf Club is part of a gated golf retirement community called Cypress Lakes. Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, the club offers two golf courses, the North and the South. The South Course is a championship layout that is more challenging than the executive-length North Course. Both courses are characterized by the abundance of water and swaying palms, offering the best of Florida golf. The South Course plays a long 6,680 yards from the back tees. The course presents a more demanding test than the North, appealing to more advanced players. Florida Golfer and Senior Golfer have recognized its challenging layout for its excellent conditions and design. Maintenance is a top priority at Big Cypress; on both courses the well manicured fairways and greens are consistently in good shape.

A Great Day at Bug Cypress
Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Pro Shop saved us a little on our green fees versus what GolfNow charged. Played in 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Greens were about 10 on the stump.
Course in very good condition and we saw more alligators here than any other the other area courses
Fun course
We were paired with very nice member (Tom) and had a great time. Every hole is different and course conditions were great.

Excellent as always
Conditions are mint. Pace is always good even when busy. Price is excellent (59) for the quality of the conditions. More courses should see what they do here as they are the example of how public golf should operate. Conditions always excellent here meanwhile the other courses in the area struggle
Course in great shape.
The greens are very fast but true. Makes putting a lot of fun. Fairways and tee boxes also in good shape. Interesting layout with some water to get over. Good course for intermediate or beginners.
Course played extremely slow. No ranger on the course to keep things moving. Course was pretty wet and soft which made it play longer. Not worth the price they charged us on GolfNow,
