About
Big Cypress Golf Club is part of a gated golf retirement community called Cypress Lakes. Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, the club offers two golf courses, the North and the South. The South Course is a championship layout that is more challenging than the executive-length North Course. Both courses are characterized by the abundance of water and swaying palms, offering the best of Florida golf. The South Course plays a long 6,680 yards from the back tees. The course presents a more demanding test than the North, appealing to more advanced players. Florida Golfer and Senior Golfer have recognized its challenging layout for its excellent conditions and design. Maintenance is a top priority at Big Cypress; on both courses the well manicured fairways and greens are consistently in good shape.

Nice course, good condition
Greens were fast and a little tricky. Pace of play was 4:30. This course is pretty short but need to play with some strategy. Enjoyed my day. Good value on a hot deal.
Dried out
The course was very dried out.. it looks like they do not seed for the winter . They thing I liked about the course was the greens were fast . The retirement community it is in is super busy with members . I’ll just say I’ve met some cool ones and I’ve met some just plain rude ones . If you live in the area it’s working playing but I wouldn’t be driving from a long ways away to play
Good course, Good conditions
Fun, challenging course to play. Very flat. Greens were very good and pins were tough. Active membership, we got caught behind some slow groups but finished in 4.5 hrs.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Nice driving range.

A Great Day at Bug Cypress
Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Pro Shop saved us a little on our green fees versus what GolfNow charged. Played in 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Greens were about 10 on the stump.
Course in very good condition and we saw more alligators here than any other the other area courses
Fun course
We were paired with very nice member (Tom) and had a great time. Every hole is different and course conditions were great.
