South Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club

First time playing it, grabbed a hot deal, place was great, course was in amazing shape, will for sure go back and play it again.

The greens were aerified and nowhere did it tell us that on Golfnow. We've had tons of rain lately but the course was still dried up. Lots of bad spots in the fairways.. I like the course but I'll wait a while before going back.

As always, I enjoyed my round. There was hardly any other people on the course and I had a great round. The greens still not great, but playable but the fairways are in good shape. .

Greens were punched sometime ago and are a long way from being back to normal. Seem to lack care. Tee boxes were patchy. Fairways and bunkers were good. Staff was friendly. Was not advised that greens were punched and was told that range balls were not included. Course should be ready to play in a month if we get rain. Longer if we don't.

The condition of the greens really affected putting and we were unaware of the aerification. Perhaps prices should be lower under those conditions, still,is one of my favorite courses

Wanted to try this course as it's in the middle of my nephew and I and I'm so glad I chose it. Woke up to the thunderstorms and pouring rain and was a bit concerned it would be flooded out but the rain stopped by the time we teed off. It was cart path only for the first part of our round and we were the only ones on the course so had no one rushing us and we weren't waiting on anyone. Even with all the rain the course was in amazing condition and I have now found my all time favorite greens. These greens almost felt like you were putting on a mini golf course and were incredible and true. I live in Orlando and love the courses up here, especially Disney, but I think I have found a very high favorite of mine.

I've been playing this course for years and still love it.I would play it more often, but my retirement check doesn't allow me to do it. I'll recommend it to all.

We were paired up with a gentleman from N Tampa and he had never played Big Cypress . I told him he was in for a treat. BC is my favorite course so far in Florida. The gentleman from NT said he pays double what BC charges and the courses are maybe half as nice. Once again BC was exceptional.

They didn't have my reservation at gate, or clubhouse. Was supposed to be paired with others, ended up by myself, which is fine. They let two foursomes go ahead of me while waiting on pairing. Those groups never let me pass. I typically play 18 in less than 1.5 hours, closer to 1 if by myself. Front 9 took 2.5 hours. Played the back nine after I passed them at the turn in about an 45 minutes thanks to a couple others letting me tee off with them, finishing the hole and moving on.

For the course, greens were in great shape compared to others I have seen lately. Sand was raked and high quality. Tee boxes and fairways were better than average as well.

The fairways needed some water that was pretty dry in places
