About
Big Cypress Golf Club is part of a gated golf retirement community called Cypress Lakes. Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, the club offers two golf courses, the North and the South. The South Course is a championship layout that is more challenging than the executive-length North Course. Both courses are characterized by the abundance of water and swaying palms, offering the best of Florida golf. The South Course plays a long 6,680 yards from the back tees. The course presents a more demanding test than the North, appealing to more advanced players. Florida Golfer and Senior Golfer have recognized its challenging layout for its excellent conditions and design. Maintenance is a top priority at Big Cypress; on both courses the well manicured fairways and greens are consistently in good shape.

What a great atmosphere. Definitely a nice golf community.
Outstanding course conditions. Music playing at poolside. Greens were perfect. Greens were not too fast and not slow. Fairways excellent. Tee boxes were great. Bunkers in great shape. Just a beautiful course. Not too tricky. Good for all handicap levels. I would play here over and over again. Excellent day playing golf. A+++
Beautiful course!
We enjoyed this course. It has some nice signature holes with water in play. Only slight issue was their rental clubs. One of our guests needed rental clubs and they were a mish mash of all different iron makes with a Junior driver. Apart from that it was a great experience.

FOR ME COURSE WAS IN VERY GWILL PLAY AGAINOOD SHAPE. COUPLE I PLAYED WITH SAID GREENS WERE SLOW BUT I THOGHT THEY WERE ROLLING FAIR. FAIRWAYS WERE ONE OF THE BEST I PLAYED THIS YEAR SINCE DEC.

Good conditions and value
Found the course to be in good shape tee to green and really enjoyed the layout. Some tight fairways, challenges with water and greens were rolling really well. I would definitely recommend!
