About
Big Cypress Golf Club is part of a gated golf retirement community called Cypress Lakes. Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, the club offers two golf courses, the North and the South. The South Course is a championship layout that is more challenging than the executive-length North Course. Both courses are characterized by the abundance of water and swaying palms, offering the best of Florida golf. The South Course plays a long 6,680 yards from the back tees. The course presents a more demanding test than the North, appealing to more advanced players. Florida Golfer and Senior Golfer have recognized its challenging layout for its excellent conditions and design. Maintenance is a top priority at Big Cypress; on both courses the well manicured fairways and greens are consistently in good shape.

Highly recommend!!!!
I highly recommend this course. I have played it a few different times now and every time it’s been great. Tee boxes, fairways & greens are all in great shape. The layout is awesome. And some of the holes are very tough and challenging.
Father’s Day Treat
Played with a good friend, his friend and his friend’s son. I had played here before but it was the first time for the other three. Course was in great shape, as it’s been every time I’ve played it. My playing partners were pleasantly surprised at how good the course conditions were. Best of any course I’ve played in the Tampa, Lakeland, Orlando area this year. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend playing this course.

Course was excellent. Greens healed from aerification and rolled well. Pace was fast, everything was cash money. .
