About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

What a great little executive course
We absolutely love this course. It is about 20 minutes from our house so an easy drive. Well worth the cost! The course is well maintained, the carts are awesome and comfortable, and it is challenging to novices. We are looking forward to playing there more often!

1st Time
I’ve lived here since 2011, this was my 1st time playing The Grove. It is a nice course to work on your short game. No driver needed. Some tough holes so you have to have good course management to score well. I shot an 81 with 2 penalty strokes.
Will definitely play again.

The Best Short Course Around
I play this course every Thursday and is my favorite in the area.

Very nice short course
This was our first time playing this course and found it to be a very nice and interesting short course to play. The correct first club to use it not necessarily a driver on the par 4's and 5's. It required some thinking to get the correct ball position for the 2nd shot. The course was well maintained. My wife particularly enjoyed the round as she does not hit the ball long and the course layout more closely suited her game, We had dinner at the grille afterward and the staff was very friendly and the meal good and reasonably priced.

Great course
In my opinion, the is probably the best course to play in the area. The vast majority of the time, it's in great condition. Staff is friendly and polite and everything is clean and kept up.

Excellent course
The course conditions are always among the best of any course in the state. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nice course, nice carts, nice staff. Plus grab a bite to eat and drink afterwards and enjoy a day out on the course.
