Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Decent Executive Course

In decent shape Some tee boxes need work. Short par 4 and 5. As a visitor who didn’t trust airlines with clubs I decided to rent clubs. Not a good idea. Brutal rentals. Old top flite clubs.

Great Conditions

Friday afternoon tee time. Course was booked solid, still had smooth pace of play. Greens are beautiful and roll nice and smooth. Staff is always super polite and friendly. Nico does a tremendous job.

New favorite course

We had a group of four this time, and every person had nothing but great things to say about this course. This was my second visit and I can’t wait to go again.

The greens are beautiful, the course is well maintained, and the price is extremely reasonable. Saturday and Sunday are a little busy and can require a little more patience, but because it’s a smaller course everything moves at a good pace.

What a great little executive course

We absolutely love this course. It is about 20 minutes from our house so an easy drive. Well worth the cost! The course is well maintained, the carts are awesome and comfortable, and it is challenging to novices. We are looking forward to playing there more often!
