About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Great Short Course
A short par 66 but a challenging layout and lots of water. They keep this course in very good condition from tee to green. If you hit your driver 275+ many of the par 4s will be reachable in 1, but mess up and you'll pay the price! Don't try to walk the course - several holes are 200 yards or more from green to next tee.

One of the best keep courses
It is always in great shape. The prices are very good for being in excellent condition! The staff is always so friendly. And the restaurant is always had good food and a full bar!

Ranger Harassment
Was putting on 1st green when Ranger Josh started barking that cart has to be 30 ft from greens. I am not new to golf and know the rule. It just happens that I was straddling the cart path that goes around the the green and two tires were touching the fringe of the green. What a way to ruin a golf round. My wife also thought he was out of line yelling like that.
They've removed the GPS from the carts so use your discretion.
What I'd like know is that the cart path that circles the green is part of the 30 ft.

Best little course in Tampa.
I never pull out a wood when playing at The Groves, and I love that. Course is in great shape, and play can be quick.

Fun track
Shorter course but with its challenges. A risk/reward course. Stay in the fairway as rough is a bit deep. Which on a short course is fair. Grenns rolled smooth but weren’t as fast as the looked. Average speed I’d say. Great value.
