About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

The Groves while short ( 4000 yds from the tips ) is still a challenge to the average golfer. The course itself is always in great condition, nice firm, fast greens, well manicured fairways and not too much water and sand to catch an errand shot. It's always a good test, especially with the shorter clubs.....However, some holes, like #4 and #18, both very short par 5's, require precise shots to reach the greens in regulation. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.....looking forward to returning again some day soon.

Great Course
I moved to the area some time ago and have played here from time to time. Great staff and course. Conditions are always great and never an issue for pace of play. Great scenery ok handful of holes and even with it being a shorter course (par 67), still has its challenges and makes for a fun great round of golf.

Good layout - slow greens

Excellent course for the money. Greens were beautiful. Fairways in very good shape. They were closing it for a week to redo the bonkers with PGA sand. Only make it better

Another good outing
Played the Groves again this Wednesday. The course is in great shape. The fairways and greens are very good. Very few folks braved the Florida heat so pace of play was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

The Groves, while only 4000 yds can be a challenge for a high handicapper as there is plenty of water and tight fairways to contend with.....the greens are in great shape, nice and smooth, relatively fast and not too undulating.....fairways are cut close and well groomed. The last hole is a very short par 5, but really tight and I usually don't do well, but still enjoy the round over all.

Great Short Course
Played the course with my grandson who doesn’t play very often. This was a great course for him to play due to the shorter length yet very nicely framed holes. Fairways and greens are very good, although some greens had different grasses growing, but rolled very nicely. Course layout is excellent with some very challenging holes, although not long. Very fun, non-stressful course to play. Staff very friendly.

Great time!
First time on this course. We drive about 45 mins to try a new place to play and different. Loved it. We got a little backed up on 10 but that quickly resolved by 12. Layout is very nice and will definitely be back.

Excellent course.
A very tricky course. You have to place your shots cuz of a lot of water. Whole number 18 use a five or six iron to tee off very tricky part 5.
