Plantation Palms Golf Club
About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Fantastic Greens
Enjoyable round, fantastic greens. Manure of some sort spread on tee boxes, no ideal. Great day nonetheless.
Disappointed
Less than average course. Conditions fair. This course has the potential of being something special, but lack of professional care is holding it back. Rates are too high.for this course. Won’t be back unless someone gives a me gift card.
Tune up Course
This course is perfect to stay tuned up with your irons. Most Par 4 holes are short and 200 yards off the tee box will keep you 150 out from the pin. Par 5s are reachable within two. The Par 3s is where you need to focus or you will add a couple of strokes for sure.
Great value
After playing this course honestly surprised the greens fee is under $50. Great value for this time of year. Greens were immaculate and rolled faster than any I’ve seen for this price point. Fairways perfect too. All staff I encountered were very courteous. Only issue was I was paired up with a twosome who stopped after 9 holes. On 11 it was backed up and I wasn’t interested in taking three more hours so I decided to pack it in and check out the Irish pub restaurant on site. Had a delicious and very reasonably-priced lunch with excellent views of 9 and 18. Would recommend this course if you don’t want to pay the insane greens fees during peak season. First time but I will be back!
Great morning
Great morning with great conditions course was beautiful greens were fast and true my first time today and I will definitely be back played from blues was about 6600 with alot of great opportunities to hit some cool shots
Had a gret round at Plantation. First time
Play plantation with my son we both had a great time facilities were in good condition, staff were friendly and helpful.
Need a ranger
Pace of play was good for a few holes then got stuck behind younger guys that didn’t seem to be understanding of golf pace of play. Waited on every shot. Greens were spectacular. Enjoy the course.
Nice Golf Experience
Really pleased with the layout...lot of variety - some shorter holes, some longer, doglegs, water, etc. Interacted with 5 staff, and all were super- friendly and professional. Teeing off Sunday around noon, it was less than a 4 hour round. Saw the ranger about 3 times but no idea if he was pushing slower players along. Not a resort course, it that's your thing. Sand in traps was pretty thin. Fairways offered good lies but weren't manicured. Greens generally in good shape but a few rough spots. Looking forward to going back.
Busy, busy, busy
The course was in pretty nice shape, with a few interesting, challenging holes. A nice amount of water. The course is heavily used, with a lot of singles the day we played, which made for rather slow play. Best time to play is probably Monday through Wednesday. I would imagine the weekend play must be terrible. Broken tees, butts, unrepaired divots and ballmarks, were evident, but not unlike most courses. People want a nice course to play, but they’re too lazy to take a few moments on every hole to repair a couple of divots and ballmarks, and to pick up a few broken tees or butts.
