Winston Trails Golf Club

Have played here several times before. Progressively getting worse and has now hit rock bottom. We literally gave up and drove off the course today after 15 holes and 5 hours elapsed. Last time we played, we gave up and drove off after 12 holes and 4 hours. THIS COURSE NEEDS A RANGER TO MOVE PEOPLE ALONG! It’s really bad - we waited for literally every single shot we hit (other than on the greens!). Hard to believe but on our premature journey driving off the course today - there was a seven person group teeing off on the 17th tee box. 7 people!! Whoever the ranger is on this course - he or she needs to be fired immediately because we didn’t see them today and it’s a free-for-all at Winston Trails. Slow play is killing golf and this course is the worst we’ve seen in Palm Beach County. Run, don’t walk, from Winston Trails. It’s very poorly managed. We will never play again and we will tell everyone we know to avoid this disaster at all costs.

Course was great with a great layout and some very eye catching holes! 1st hole had me worried about my choice but didnt regret it as I played on. Greens were in great shape but tees and fairways what you would expect from a public course.

Everything was great but we and everyone behind us had a very slow round because of two drunk group of guys in front of us.

course was in decent condition howver pace of play remains an issue.

Great course a little pricey and was not told we would be playing in the middle of a scramble tournament so it was a long round

Its a great layout and the course conditions were excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this course.

Booked advance tee time, prepaid. We finally tied off 45 minutes after our schedule teatime due to What I guess was over booking. No other rationale makes sense. It was rather frustrating because we were on a schedule and it made us late for events after golf.

Staff was good course layout was good. But you must stick to pre-schedule tee times..

Nice course. However thd charge of $15 for a bucket of range balls was outrageous. I only wanted a small bucket but the staff member said only a bucket of 50 was available. I have played 470 golf courses - some very exclusive and that is the most I have ever seen charged for range balls- indeed many clubs give complimentary range balls. I won't be returning.

The fee did not reflect the quality of my experience. There were four tee boxes closed of the color I was playing forcing me to either play back or tee off from out in the fairway. there was no indication of any work being down on the tee boxes which would cause a closure. We teed off 20 minutes late so the round was finished 4:45 from the start.

There are other courses in the area that are more reasonable and offer a better experience.

I was impressed with the greens and the condition of the fairways. Challenging from the back tees and enjoyable from the whites. My only suggestion is a smaller bucket to warm up at half the price. Putting green was true to the course which I like.

Slow pace staff could be friendlier. But course was fun.

Nice layout. Staff well organized, some were friendly and some were not. Greens pretty good, fairways were not. Pace of play was 4.5 hrs
