Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

The course was in good shape considering all the rain we have had recently.
There is not too much trouble, making it a good course for those if us who are not highly skilled.

Good conditions
Fairways and greens had been watered and were in pretty good condition considering the lack of rain this summer. My wife and I played. The ladies tees on some of the par 4’s and par fives were a bit unfair. Would definitely play there again.

Drought conditions continue to plague South Florida tracks and this former PGA tour stop from the mid-1940s to the mid-1950s was no exception. The fairways and tee boxes on this old-school layout were thin and the rough was full of bare patches. By contrast, the greens were in wonderful condition, save one that was vandalized. The sand traps, in general, were in good shape. For a Friday midday round, the pace of play was excellent. As usual, the pro shop staff and starter were friendly, but beverage cart girl never showed up. While the course's new bar served a tasty burger, beverage prices were too high ($10 for cocktail).
