About
Historic Miami Shores Country Club offers a classic 18-hole championship golf course that is the home of a vast array of sub-tropical wildlife and vegetation. The Club has been host to a number of prestigious events including the Florida State Open.
Celebrities such as Bob Hope, Joe DiMaggio, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and Lee Trevino have graced the lush fairways.
The front nine calls for precise approach shots into small well bunkered, contoured greens. The incoming nine calls for well-placed tee shots.
This Red Laurence designed course offers other amenities like a 120 seat lounge with a panoramic view of the golf course and lighted driving range, six clay tennis courts, three hard courts, swimming pool, extra large men's and ladies' locker rooms and a staff that understands the meaning of service.

Bring a book to read between shots
Incredibly slow pace of play. Arrived at first tee with 3 groups waiting to tee-off ahead of us. Mental kick to the head. Seems like they over-book tee-times. Simply no where for anywhere to go the entire round, regardless of skill level. . 5 1/2hrs on a Thursday. Good course overall. In very good condition… Pace of play ruined a beautiful day. Great old school clubhouse restaurant could use some servers with a little more attention and pace as well.
Fast greens course in great conditions…
The course was in good conditions and the greens where fast.. had a great time would definitely play here again..
Great Course in Great Shape
In great shape! Green and fairways were perfect. During the week starting October the course is wide open

I have been playing this course and many others in Dade and Broward for 20 plus years and this course has the most consistent and dependable greens and other course conditions of all courses.
Great Course
Course is in great condition. Fun to play. Only problem is that they overbook tee times. Was supposed to play at 2:30 pm and ended up teeing off at 3:20
Nice course, no service
It was a great round of golf, with lots of space (and room for mistakes), but also challenging and long holes. Unfortunately, if you play in the afternoon make sure to have enough drinks: there's no service anymore from 5pm....

Old golf course with odd layout , average condition, above average price ,below average service.
Never Again
If I could’ve rated it lower, I would, it’s the worst golf experience that I’ve ever had. The staff were not friendly. The pace was unbelievably slow. It happened to be raining and I got through three hole holes, and they refuse to give any kind of credit or refund. I will never be back.
Golf course in excellent conditions like always. They take a good care of the course. I love the course!!
