About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Extremely Slow Play
The first 9 holes took 3 hours to play and there were only 8 holes available, as hole 7 was closed due to fireworks set up. There was one group of 7 playing together, when I told the so call ranger about he told me I was mistaken, I told me I know how to count to 7! The group ahead of my group, each player was playing 2 balls each. The tee boxes weren't cut, the green were in terrible condition, the course was a joke!
Flooded/No drainage
Worst experience I’ve ever had. Terrible drainage on the course. There had not been rain for a couple of days; however the course was flooded, and there were water pumps all over the course pumping water off. The course was covered in tire marks, and the carts almost got stuck on every hole. The course is terribly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend the course to my worst enemy. Then the staff had the audacity to tell golfnow that what I said was not true and the course was completely playable and had no such issues. DON’T PLAY HERE!!
That being said golfnow’s customer service is top notch and they fixed the issue with me. But the course is trash and I would highly recommend taking your money somewhere else to support any other course in the area.

Hot and fast!
It was hot, but the course was not busy and I played through as a single in 2.5 hours!
Dennis (the menace) did a great job as starter and cartman.

Super Value
You can't play golf on the intercoastal for anything approaching this price. It's a real bargain that I hope never goes away.
The greens had just been aerated so putting was much more challenging than usual. Anyone who has played there knows where the wet spots are but it was drier than I expected given the rain during the previous few days.

Decent day
First off the course has been punched and there was a lot of rain recently. However, only 8 and 18 were cart path only. Course is easy if you drive well. Good pace of play (3 hours). Staff friendly. Greens were quick despite being aerated recently. Bunkers hard with compacted, wet sand. Fun day though. Worth the money.

Great staff; fabulous breezes
We enjoy this course very much. The breezes make a round so much more enjoyable. I’m hoping the tee boxes get reseeded during the season ending reno.

Great Views and Iguana Central
The course needs some work, but the location is spectacular, with the views of the inter coastal waterways, and the heards of iguanas roaming around. It was like all those little dinosaurs in jurassic park. Fun to watch In between holes. I’d recommend this course, but I feel like it needs some better grooming. The greens were a little bumpy and rough.

Sporty layout, not very long. Getting to the greens was the easy part. All are elevated and humpbacked. A real challenge for chipping and putting. Course was in muni shape, with great deals on GolfNow. Staff were all very nice.Temper your expectations and it’s a real treat
